Great...she was as good as Sara the later part of the season. She has a very good shot and hustles on defense.

DLB had an offer to move last year but didn't. Will be hopeful to see that post from her. Judging from her reactions to Sarah staying I am hopeful she is coming back.

For non-seniors, I think we can treat no news as good news. I don't think it's become a thing yet for everyone to annually announce the fact they are not entering the transfer portal.

I believe this is the final year for the "COVID year" to come into play.

Also worth mentioning - just because a student athlete wants to stay for their COVID year doesn't mean that the scholarship spot is still available. The school has to be willing as well. I know several universities that have informed an athlete to find a spot on another roster. Portal works in more than one way.

Yes, just because a BB player wants to come back 5th year (or any year) doesn't mean an automatic scholarship. They are reviewed annually and given/not given annually. Some in the portal were told no scholarship so looking for scholarship with another team.

My guess is that this may be less of an issue in WBB with 15 scholarships allowed as compared to MBB with 13.
