We need to win to offset Oregan loss. Frankly, we have zero wins thus far against a ranked opponent. This tournament has some good teams, unc, indiana, and Texas AM (unranked and weaker). Let's dominate!

Most likely a strong, ranked Indiana team.

Indianas 2-2 with losses to butler and Harvard. Not a ranked team. Think you could make the argument Columbia may be the tougher potential opponent

Indiana has recruited well and just beat Stanford who was ranked so I think they will get better and would look better on our resume at the end of the season if we can win.

Unfortunately, Baylor is the only ranked team in this tournament. Still, there are some good teams that likely will be Quad 1.

Another issue: the first games are on FloHoops meaning they are not readily available. I don't know if I will be able to watch it.

Also, it's on a Saturday with several football games plus at least one MBB game worth watching.

We play Indiana

My how we have fallen. It used to be that we were amped up for Top 15 matchups. Now it's a pre-season ranked team that is 2-2, but still someone who shoudn't be taken lightly. I get it, we are all fans. We drink the kool aid and are always excited for a big season. But it's hard to overlook how far the expectations have fallen.

So what's the point.

Not sure I understand the pumping up of a 3-2 Indiana squad. They lost to a Butler team fresh off a 30 point beatdown from Vandy. As well as a Harvard team who got boat raced by Quinnipiac. Hoosiers may end up being decent by seasons end but that's the very definition of mid. Zero reason to lose this game today

Agree. Just don't want to overlook a team that throttled perennial power house Stanford. I expect to win, but ESPN analytics say it may be close. Hope to win big!

Never want to overlook an opponent. Indiana definitely still has talent. They just seem way down from prior years. Losing Holmes to graduation is a huge loss

Too bad Indiana is not ranked. Our ooc schedule is weak. We are currently 0-1 against ranked teams with only 5 more games on our schedule vs ranked. By comparison, MBB is 2-2 vs currently ranked teams (likely 2-3 when conference play begins) with 9 more games on the schedule. That may not be the best comparison since Baylor MBB plays more ranked games ooc than anyone else (probably overall). Still, it's not going to be a great resume come March.

Indiana is not that good. We should beat them, we have more talented players. Indiana has not recruited well the past 4 years, they have one #23 recruiting ranking the past 4 years. The top two players they had couple years ago (Holmes, Berger) have gone to Wnba and not replaced with equal or better players.

Game is losable according to Vegas. On FD we are favored by only 7.5

Indiana up 37-34 at the half. They've lost two starters to injury. Hoosiers jumped out to 17-2 lead in Q1. YaYa has the hot hand, but Bears in foul trouble.

Why does it seem like every BU team starts SLOW?
