Do we have any information on how Ines' rehabilitation is going? I'm looking forward to seeing her contribute next season.

Asked Nicki Collen about her after she was done with segment on coaches show tonight. She wishes that Ines would practice more but needs to strengthen her quads. Also she did mention Jana is rehabbing well.

I'm surprised Ines's mother isn't getting her in the gym more or working on her quads like the coaches want.

Is Inez expected to be recovered enough to contribute meaningful minutes next season?

She didn't get into that part. I was just starting what she said. Also it's a long time from now and next season so maybe she will get her strength back by then. It wouldn't surprise me if we decided to get a transfer at point guard to ease Ines in like a backup off the bench though Jennings could do that if needed because she did average 3.3 assists last year at Collin County Community College but she's not done that this year so will see. Either way I think a transfer at guard is needed whether it is point or shooting even with the addition of Marcayla Johnson because depth is needed especially if it is quality depth.

I understand why Nicki wishes Ines would practice more BUT you can't rush this type of rehab.
I am concerned Jana is rushing - I have seen way too many rush to get back on the court and are never the same player they were preinjury or worse a reinjury. It's just too much hard work and pain for little or no gain.

Good perspective. Maybe Ines's mother does know!
