For you Scott. I don't expect anyone to dunk.

I do not think this game will be a "blow out ". For the most part, Nicki's teams play up to good competition. I think score will be closer than most expect.

I'd be shocked and pleasantly surprised if it's anything less than a 15 point loss. We don't match up well at all with uClA. But that's why you play the games. Ya never know

UCLA is talented and TALL.We need to play our A game.

There is a lot of talent on that team. Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice ( AudreyCooks couldn't handle her), Janiah Barker, G. Jaquez, London Jones….. Height at each position. Going to be tough. Glad Nette is so familiar with them. Really going to need midrange game going from Jana. Much harder to score inside with Betts. Would be nice if we could get her into early foul trouble. Going to have to be dialed in from outside. We have nothing to lose and I think we will be ready. Nicki will have a good plan, hope we can execute it well. If we do play to our abilities, should be a good game and just hoping we can steal one. If we breakdown and try to play 1v1, I fear it will be ugly. Sure wish we had Dauda for this game.

She MIGHT help.....I don't know. She's scored 3 total points in SC's last 5 games.

Dauda would help. She is very talented. She choose to play short minutes on a team that will probably compete for a national championship over the chance to play extended minutes on a team that, with her, might compete for a natty. Can you imagine have her as a post/forward to complement Netty? NIL might have also be a factor.

If Dauda wants a basketball career, she made a mistake going to South Carolina. If she wants to be a bench player on championship team, she made right decision,

She was set to come. NIL was ok. When USCe pressed that's when we lost. She is long and athletic and has inside outside game and can play D. She would have helped Monday and all season.

Ursidae for the win.

She would have gotten a lot of minutes with Baylor and she is riding the bench at SC. Also in looking at SC's team next year, I really don't see her moving up in rotation.

We have nothing to lose, excited to see us compete against the #1 team, no matter the outcome having this experience against a #1 team it will help us finish out conference play on high note.

If shots are falling, I'd say a 7-9 point game that might look worse than it is with fouls in the final 90 seconds. If shots aren't falling, it will be a long night. Our midrange and 3 ball have to find the bottom of the net more than they have the last few games. They tend to play to the level of their competition - just hoping we don't have an off-quarter. It's exhausting playing from behind all game.

I am not really sure why SC pressed to get her. She barely sees the floor.

Perhaps they have the mentality that UT used to have in football prior to scholarship limits. They can't beat you if they are on your bench.

NIL and the free agency of the transfer portal is still relatively new. Once players realize that you can't have 10 elite or semi-elite players on a team and they all play 20+ minutes, they should be more selective on where they go. Do you want a ring and be nothing but mop-up duty or do you want to be a star on a team that you could push to challenge the top teams. I hope we will soon be to that point, just not sure it is there yet.

I would love to know what SC told her. I guess these players all think they are the best and can beat out anyone, but that is just not the truth for most. They don't find that out until it is too late and they are buried on the bench. And likely when they think their time will come next year, another portal player is brought on that is better and they are still on the bench unless they see that coming and transfer themselves.

I believe the only team to lose within single digits was Louisville. We have nothing to lose, they are the #1 teams in the land and they are bigger than us at every position. I just want our ladies to give it their all and make it a close game. If we keep it within 15 I will be satisfied.

She was a star on a bad Arkansas team. I would have loved her to come to baylor but she chose to go to a loaded team with stacked players at her position. I thought she would get more involved when Watkins tore her ACL a few games ago , but I see little production when she goes in the game.

South Carolina's depth is very impressive. They can wear you down because they can go 10 deep with little drop off. Over the last few years they had All-America post players but this year they are good but not great as they were before. What they lack in star power they almost make up for with their front court depth. Dauda may make big contributions as the season goes on but Dauda would have made big time contributions for most any other team in the country, including my beloved BU.
