With a win on Sunday Vic Schafer is going to win a conference title in his first season in the SEC. Mulkey is still trying to get one. This while LSU played SC and Texas once and Texas played SC twice. Just an interesting food for thought as to how things would have fallen if things remained the same and both coaches were in the Big 12 this year.

I watched the full game. LSU had no business being in that game. Got some fortunate calls and some good bounces. One hell of a game. Looking forward to the tournament.

Old bug eyes strikes again. Kristy Curry and Kim go way back. Curry does not win often over Mulkey, but when she does it always is in some wild game. This win by Alabama was actually not great for Baylor because Alabama was close to us in projected seeding and NET. But with so many variables out there, it probably won't matter. If we beat TCU and win the Big 12, I will be happy no matter what our seeding.

Beating TCU will be an eqivilant, and Alabama has some not great loses. If we end up a 5 seed playing a team like Alabama, I'm okay with it. Honestly, I'd rather be a 6 than a 5, as it puts us on the opposite side of the bracket from the 1s. But regardless, whether we host or not, we are playing the best basketball we've played all year. Just win Sunday and let the chips fall as they will. But it will be hard to keep us away from hosting if we win the conference outright and make the Championship game of the tournament without a full roster, which should be back come NCAA time.

We must have watched two different games. Those refs helped Alabama so many times, especially in the first half. Their big girl did not get her first foul of the game until half way through the 3rd quarter. And Barker, as good as she is, committed an offensive foul with the dropped shoulder and forearm every time she went to the basket. LSU had a ridiculously bad game and still had a chance to win. They just never could pull it together. There were so many fouls called in that game, neither team could really get any type of rhythm, although the situation seemed to favor Alabama.

I will agree, we didn't watch the same game.

That said, the officiating was horrid in both the fourth quarter and overtime. They lost control and were blowing their whistle every 10 seconds. No rhythm.

I wasn't a big fan of Nikki at all but giving credit where it's due. We are seeing what her recruits can do and it's impressive despite the injuries and the crazy travel. I am rooting for her and the girls this weekend to smash TCU dreams...

Iowabear, You are free to misrepresent me, react harshly to a simple post, and occupy your time and energy with me living rent free in your head, but please refrain from degrading marks that include inappropriate sexually perverse comments. I did nothing to invite that cloddish response and will call you out on the board every time I see it. Let's debate bball, not engage in troubling, juvenile conversation.

I could give two ****s less if you call me out. I stated a stone cold fact…. Mulkey to this day lives rent free in your head. You ***** and moan about her ANY chance you get. Yet you're the first one on here telling everyone else to move on and quit bringing her up in discussion. Hypocrite to the core. And far as keeping the discussion to just basketball… sure I'd love to continue running laps around you from a basketball perspective.
What're your thoughts on Baylor's F4 chances ?

I was not having a contest, but you do offer great bball insights from time to time. It is just the need to berate and belittle others that is odd. It is as if you are working out life's frustrations on your fellow BU fans. I can't imagine your everyday tone with other is this discourteous.

As to final four, i doubt it. 2 many injuries and uncertainties. If the threes fall we can beat anyone, but magic would have to strike. I think another sweet 16 would be an accomplishment given three major players are not out or hindered beyond their best. An elite 8 performance would be fantastic. Beyond that it is gravy. This year there are many teams with 4 to 6 losses. Some of them ranked quite high, some totally ignored. Therefore, I think there will be some surprises this tournament.

Life's frustrations? When did you get into mind reading? My life and tone are just fine. It's incredibly obvious my issues are solely with your hypocrisy. But no need to continue the pissing match. We're better off ignoring eachother because we're never going to share the same opinions. And that eliminates me needing to respond to your constant Mulkey banter. Enjoy
