Yes. I really hope we are cautious and don't play Buggs for Iowa State. I also think we can win this game without her. We really need her for K State and especially TCU as well as March Madness.

This is a big miss. DLB is the glue for us.
As to the Big 12 tournament,we should get at least a 1 game bye(top 8 teams).If we stay in the top 4 we will receive a double bye into the quarterfinals.That would help us if Buggs is unavailable or only able to play limited minutes.
I believe if we beat ISU we will be in the top 4. If done, we could have at most 4 losses. The current teams with four losses are WVU, Utah, and OSU. We have head to head over the first two. It might even be possible to still get in the top four if we don't win any more games considering their is still head to head between some of those teams, but too many scenarios for me to work through.Task Force 2015 said:

My source is VERY good. I could choose not to share if you prefer. But healing time is always an estimation, and every player is different. Was just generously letting the community of BU wbb supporters know that the injury is significant enough that it will be more than a one or two game situation. I pray that my source is surprised by better than expected healing times. Not sure why some members of this community choose this forum as an outlet for their frustrations. I was simply sharing what I knew and was not free to share my source, Like most good reporters who have a scoop.
Fred, you only needed to say what you just did. My problem was using the word "rumor". We get enough assumptions, exaggerations, and downright mis-information from the Internet, especially social media. "Rumors" fall into the same category. You had information that was not a "rumor".. However, the way it come across was just something you heard.....from who knows where.fredbear said:

Coach Tari was on the John Morris Show yesterday and Coach Nicki was on Matt Mosley's show. Both of them sounded optimistic she'd be back this year and one of them (I think CNC) said something to the effect that it wasn't as bad as they initially thought (don't recall the exact wording). Anyways, sounded encouraging overall. Fingers crossed!
Nicki was the one who said "not as bad as originally thought". My impression from her was that she didn't expect her back before the B12 tourney, but she was also making it clear that they weren't sure how long.605Bear said:

She's listed day to day. The TV announcer mentioned that they hope to have her back before the tournament. I think that was more of a general comment, as in, they want her back, compared to "reports say she is out until the tournament." I could be wrong, but those ESPN+ reporters don't really do a ton of research on the other team.
