Hosting will rely heavily on defeating TCU (#3 Seed) this evening and securing the outright Big XII Title.

The 1 and 2 Seeds from the last reveal are pretty much assured of hosting (UCLA, LSU, UT, NC State, USC, UCONN, Notre Dame, USC).

And of the #3 Seeds, TCU and UNC are probably locked in to host.

However, anyone outside of the Top 10-12 range is still fighting to secure hosting rights, imo.

So with that said, here is what we likely need to happen in order to help us secure one of the Top 16 Seeds.


Seed numbers below are based on the latest Bracketology (We are currently a #5 seed and ranked #17):


Tennessee (#4 Seed) vs Georgia - Tennessee just lost to a 12-17 Bulldog team. This helps us.

Duke (#3 Seed) vs FSU (#6 Seed) - Pull for FSU, as this would give Duke their 8th loss. Duke is ranked #16.

Maryland (#5 Seed) vs Ohio State (#3 Seed) - Pull for OSU, as this would give #19 Maryland their 7th loss.

Alabama (#4 Seed) vs OU (#4 Seed) - Pull for OU, as OU being ranked #13 has them on more solid ground.

Kentucky (#3 Seed) vs South Carolina (#1 Seed) - Pull for S. Carolina, as UK is barely ranked above us (#15).

Kansas State (#4 Seed) vs Iowa State (#11 Seed) - Pull for ISU, as we don't need any funny business w/KSU.

Ole Miss (#5 Seed) vs LSU (#2 Seed) - Pull for LSU, as we don't need Ole Miss to add an LSU win to their resume.
