She looked very promising as a freshman. Thumbs down this year.IowaBear said:
Just a guess. Have only watched a handful of LSU games. Maybe the opponent was why she looked bad. But I just don't see her fitting in scheme wise.

She had an injury in the offseason that bled into beginning of season. She played noticably worse b/c of it.BUVA said:IowaBear said:

She looks out of shape this year. Wolfenbarger much quicker.

They should have fired him when they left the AACScottyB_The_Baylor_King said:BREAKING: Houston has parted ways with head women’s basketball coach Ronald Hughey, a source told @On3sports.

I'm afraid there is no way that Kateri fits in at Baylor... Skill set, maybe -- attitude, actions, etc.all go against Baylor's typical recruiting. Word has it that the reason she was removed from the LSU team was because she shared a scouting report / game plan with a friend on an opposing team. Hard pass if I was making that decision.Baylorbearsupporter said:
I would like to see kateri poole who transferred over to houston from lsu, who played big minutes on their championship team. She sat out this year due to injury but she got good handles, can get to the bucket, strong, and can shoot.

Well Missouri will get a new head coach next season for sure. There are 2 notable players that could enter the transfer portal that are double digit scorers at guard. Those two would be Grace Slaughter (6 ft 1 inch) and Ashton Judd (6 ft 2 inch). I know Abbey Schreacke isn't a double digit scorers but can shoot as a 6 ft guard. Ashton is a junior this year while other two are sophomores.
Granted we will see what other openings in the power conferences occur and what transpires in the transfer portal. If the Penn State job becomes open they do have a post who has done good against bigger competition some in Gracie Merkle at 6 ft 6 inches tall. Of course baylor could go find a gem from the mid major level like Yaya Felder or Madison Bartley which I know it didn't work out for Madison due to injury issues.
Carolyn Kieger will return as Penn State WBB head coach for the 2025-26 season; she has a record of 73-105 over six seasons; this season: 10-19 overall, 1-17 Big Ten https://t.co/F8qn6tbgvc pic.twitter.com/ibpvBLP9SC

In listening to them talk I think that would be highly unlikely unless CNC goes elsewhere, which I also don't see happening. Of course in this day and age anything is possible.ctxbear said:
Are we positive that Bella and Buggs will stay? I could imagine one of the upper-tier schools foaming at the mouth (and opening their wallets) to get one of them.
