I'm sorry but I just can't keep quiet any longer. Kyla just has no talent. For a tall girl she just can't seem to learn from her mistakes. All season I have hoped to see some growth from her but no, the ability to improve just isn't there. I hate it for the team and her. But when VonLeigh gets into foul trouble it becomes a double whammy with having to have Kyla cover for her. Sure hope Nicki can find a couple of big girls for next year.

She has no discipline. She is the Achilles heel of the team. Our lack of adequate post depth is the teams issue. She beds to graduate. She benefited from a coaching staff without relationships. She can not defend a well established post. I am confused by those on this board who have high hopes for her every year. She is not good enough. Shes reminds me of Gillespie. Talent. But not elite.

I am not a BB expert but to my untrained eye I think she has made a lot of progress this year. Obviously she has a way to go, but at the end of the game there were several rebounds and blocks and deflections from her that I thought were good plays.

She adjusted and played well fronting Crooks. Always room to improve, but grateful for her.

Harsh and unneccesary OP i think. I've definitely noticed improvement from her. Sure there's still more room to improve, probably never be elite but can be a solid teammate. She's not the talentless player described.
I'm not quite as dumb as I seem

Kyla is a work in progress who has improved greatly. I believe she spent more time playing VB in high school than basketball. She is improving. Is she a high quality post player? Not yet. But has she improved over the last couple of years--absolutely.

She has the ability to leap and get a rebound that is second to none.

She is learning how to position herself on defense.

It is work in progress.

Try supporting and encouraging young people instead of tearing them down. Kyla was down on herself yesterday based on how she played early on. But toward the end of the game, she was part of a big play and her teammates were very encouraging to her for her effort. I suggest that we all do the same.

It's always a good look when grown men and women are trashing college kids by name online. Especially when those kids happen to be good teammates and give solid effort every time they're on the court.

Like I said last night. This is the best I have seen Kyla, and she will only get better. Really really like her efforts. Wonderful young lady.

When/if Kyla reads this post, she will see the overwhelming support and appreciation she has from the fan community. We do not let one bad apple define us or her.

Yes ! These two posts were totally unnecessary ! Kyla is not Lauren Betts ( not many are at that level) but she has improved a lot and helped our team win last night. . I hope she returns next year . She has 2 more years with us and if her improvement continues she will be a really good player.

I also pray she does not see these 2 stupid posts !

Kyla gave very good minutes tonight vs OSU and those minutes gave Netty some valuable rest !! Those minutes became more important when game went into overtime !! . Her teammates appreciate and support her 100.0%
Maybe some posters can learn from her teammates and give her the credit her improvement this season deserves. Yes she has more improving to do but I like her natural gifted athletic upside !!

One game does not a college career make. However, tonights game against Okie State was a huge step in a positive direction for Kyla. Hadn''t seen her play like that before.

Kyla's stat line tonight vs OSU … 11 mins .. 6 pts on 3 out of 4 … 4 rebounds. Excellent job young lady. The keyboard critics are quiet tonight. Beat TCU!!!

Her trending line is up. If she was a stock pick the call would be - Buy and hold !!

She has tremendously improved this year. I am glad we have her, especially if and when AV gets into foul trouble.

Confidence in sports is a real thing. You can see Abraham's confidence growing. In fact, her confident play in the tournament has elevated each game. Would love to see her get a few stops on Prince today.

Pretty sure Kyla had a block on 6' 6" Magassa yesterday. Wasn't expecting that

CNC said that Kyla's (military?) family moved a lot and she did not have the benefit of consistent high level coaching. We knew that she would be a project and I appreciate her staying and working on her game. I'm sure it took a lot for her to sit out last year but we can see the benefits now. I don't knew what her ceiling is but I hope she continue to listen to her coaches, learn, grow, contribute, and have a personally satisfying college career. Stay positive young lady!

Our seats are prime viewing location for the activities under the basket and Abraham is working HARD and you can see her face when it goes well and when it doesn't and you can only applaud the effort . And especially watching the bench (Buggs in particular) give her the "flowers" and enthusiasm towards her. I think all of us supporting her is goodness - you only get better with real moments on the floor and that's what this tournament is bring her (and others). Tip of the cap to all of you encouraging her
