At this stage of the game Creme doesn't seem to move anyone other than who needs moving up or down; he doesn't seem to take time to reset matchups. Case in point: he had us as a 5 against Ole Miss in the same regional with USC and KSt as a 4 against Tennessee in the same regional with UCLA. That list makes sense. At least two of them will make it assuming that the Big 6 (USC, UCLA, Texas, SC, Notre Darme, UConn). If I would add another, it would be North Carolina. They are 5-4 in Quad 1.
I understand the reasoning for this, so don't shoot the messenger. However, that is a really tough move up or down because it means you are going to host or you are not. Not the same as a 3/4 situation or a 5/6, etc. I think that intraconference matchups should take second consideration. If we are a 4, the primary reason for the likelihood of any SEC team coming to town depends on how crowded with SEC teams the 4/5 lines are, and whether somebody needs to be moved up or moved down to avoid intraconference matchups.
We almost did it last year. It is the price you pay to host if you aren't a 3. If the choice is being a 6 or hosting....well the choice in my mind is obvious. You just take it one game at a time and enjoy the ride while you are in the game.Polarbear said:

A 4/5 seed must upset one of the elite #1 seeds like South Carolina, UCLA, USC, Texas, and I don't think any of those listed is a realistic threat
But I could definitely see one of those listed win an upset game over a #2.
