BU drops two spots after the loss to TX. ISU stays at #10 while TCU drops one even though they are 11 - 0. OKST & ASU receiving votes. SEC with 8 teams in the top 17. Two more receiving votes. Gonna be some real beating up on each other over there. Mighty strong conference.

It may be a reflection of how good people think UT is this year. Plus some below us got beat also (especially USC).

We need Scott back soon or we will fall a lot more.

I think after the top 5 - 7, a lot of teams currently in the "top 25" don't look like "top 25" teams, but somebody has to be there. The major talent is so concentrated in just a few teams at the top and then the rest diluted among another 30 or so.

With Scott we probably do belong somewhere in there. If not, then no.

Hard to believe we only fell one place after total domination by lower ranked WV. Others lost around us, so that helped. But, to be honest, I think we are over ranked after seeing the press crumble. Hope we can rebound, but not sure how you recover now that every team knows how to beat you. Overreaction, I hope so, but the last time I saw a team crumble like that was in Jr, High. We had no idea that if three players are on JVG then 2 players are wide open? Open players hid instead of seeking to help? Coach's comments indicate such.

I'd start keeping an eye on the rankings that matter now that it's February Fred. The Net etc are the ones to look at. Creek has BU hosting in his latest bracketology. While he's not really reliable as far as seeding goes hes usually accurate with the top 16. Has BU as a 4 right now. Really no room for error down the stretch. TCU looms large

It is true that other teams saw what it takes to beat us but very few teams have the players who are capable of initiating a press like West Virginia. Certainly none in the Big 12.

Thanks Iowabear and bear3. These are helpful comments that help correct my overly pessimistic attitude following last weeks game. Let's put it behind us and focus on Tech And TCU.
