CU with a layup and 1 with 2 seconds left to take their only lead in the 2nd half. Hadn't led since the 1 minute mark of the 2nd quarter

Yep same CO team, and we beat them. TCU will be ready to play. We can't keep throwing the ball in passing lanes and missing bunny layups if we are going to win.

And wear gold....whether it's "your color" or not. Show some solidarity with the team :-)
Can't it just be game time already?

I watched the second half of the game. You have to somehow prevent Miles and Hunter from driving (they were seldom missing), but also to not ignore them on the three. Heck, Miles was shooting a few from almost half court as they weren't guarding her from that far out....and made at least one. But Miles also missed a free throw late that obviously factored into the game. But down the stretch TCU was driving and making layups or near layups for many of their points. Very little mid-range game that I saw during that time.

I think the TCU coach made a tactical mistake by having them shoot the ball in a tie game with so much time left, But what he told his team to do and what they did.......who knows but them. They made it but it gave CO too much time to score the field goal to tie and then the and-one to win it.

Their bigs seem to be very prone to foul trouble.

Of course we haven't seen how TCU and Baylor match up, but if we take care of the rest of our business (easy to say with a game in Lubbock) we now only have to split with them to finish ahead of them.

We have 2 losses, with 3 games remaining with TCU and Tech.

WV has 3 losses, but only a trip to Ft Worth left against the top 5 teams left. If WV wins out we have to too to avoid a tie (and a 2 seed in the conference tourney).

You are correct if we were to tie only with WVU. Best scenario there would be to end up tied with a third or fourth team which might negate the loss to WVU because of multiple team tie breakers. It's too complicated to predict the scenarios with so many games left among the leaders.

Although at home, WVU does still have a game with OSU. But I would agree WVU does, on paper, appear to have the easiest schedule of all. But while a tall order for Baylor, WVU must have Baylor lose at least one. They don't control their own destiny.
