LT your girl Nelms has blown a hard hedge, blown catching an entry pass, and got destroyed on a rim run.

And the team continues to excel at picking up the dribble for no reason in bad locations.

Another game, another instance of playing to the level of our opponent. Up 9 at half but could have been a lot more but for 8 unforced turnovers on lazy or panicked passes.

They play with no intensity!

So are you going to critique KJ when she turns the ball over, or go after Kyla when she blows a layup?

Just keep that same energy for everyone, including each starter when they are messing up - which happened quite frequently during the TCU and Tech games.

Well don't look now. Buggs is 6 rebounds away from tying Kalani brown in total rebounds.

Fairly certain the next time someone accuses me of going soft on critique (on sports boards) will be the first time.

Our guards continue to be terrible against Full Court Pressure.
And Buggs continues being way too nonchalant with the ball.

We made it through the first 8 minutes of the 3rd with no turnovers, then promptly had 2 lazy passes right to KSt in a row.

The ladies are up 20 after 3.

Sure, they've made some mistakes, but it's hard to be too critical tonight.

Unlike the last few games, where they've been sloppy, tonight they've played as you would expect a Top 15 Team to play.

Now can they put together a similar effort in Fort Worth on Sunday, when the stakes will be a bit higher?

17 assists. 16 turnovers. Bad ratio.

KSU is terrible.

Can we keep the turnovers under 20 for the game?

80-54 blowout win

8-8 in conference going into tonight is far from terrible. KSU is talented but inexperienced. The metrics said this should be about a 10 point game for us. We just won by 26.

Certainly we turn the ball over. No doubt. But we also have a top 15 defense that more often than not forces our opponents into bad shots.

We're probably not a Final Four Squad, but the Second Weekend is absolutely still on the table. Enjoy the ride.

Sic'Em Bears.
