Actually, what you have described is what the Fox News-owned Outkick Sports would do, and did with this story. Carrington posted it and she shouldn't escape critique for childish online behavior. I certainly am not a victim, and I'm not saying that the WNBA doesn't benefit from this sort of story. I'm just saying there's a reason why the most prominent Fox "News" owned Outkick Sports stories about the WNBA focus on culture war issues, and it isn't because they love women's sports and want to see them succeed.

u saw that clip. All she did was let her momentum carry her out of bounds. Insane m that ref called a tech. The bias is so obvious and so sad. The wnba leadership should be milking thier cash cow but instead dont care because they know that no matter what, their entire league will be bailed out financially by the NBA and dont care that they arent running the league like a profitable business.

You probably have to be old to get this, but the WNBA has turned into Rollerderby with less class.

I find the current atmosphere totally disgusting. I've lost 100% interest in the "W"NBA and college Women's BB. The Culture/Race/Woke/Media/etc has turned me completely off. It just ugly. Inevitably someone is going to get seriously hurt. Chances are it'll be a Caucasian player and little will be made of it. The reverse will be PARAMONT… just watch.

The WNBA and a good chunk of its coaches & players have backed themselves into a corner. Instead of coming out in support of Cunningham they did the complete opposite. Hell we have players and coaches openly stating they wants trans players in the league. Well guess what? According to the far left you can identify as whatever the **** you want. If Royce White and Enes Kanter want to identify as chicks to play ball who is the WNBA to selectively say no?

It's because it's fun to say absurd things about an absurd league.

The league wanted to be political so they get politics thrown back at them.

The league wanted to be sexually woke so that wokeness is thrown back at them

The league is racist so racism is thrown back at them

The league claims equality of athletes so that athleticism is challenged and thrown back at them.

MLB embraced the claim of America's pastime until it was thrown back at them
. So what did they do, they juiced the ball, they juiced they players, they deadened the ball, they hid the juicing of players, they sped up the game. The point is, they listened to the accusations and made changes to hopefully improve the product.

Now, some dudes claim to be trans and want to play. Any other time, better players mean a better product. But not this time. The joke of a league is having their absurd political/social stances thrown back at them.

If people want to watch chick ball then have chick ball with a quality product and not political theater/ victimization.

And, before you accuse me of being a hater of women's hoops, know that I had season tickets to WBB for 9 or 10 years.
