I've seen a few Texas games (besides ours) and they will have streaks where there shoot well, but they typically don't shoot that well outside the paint when their shots Are contested. Our D needs to step it up a bit.

That was a stressful half to watch but the Lady Bears are walking into the locker room with a halftime lead.

Morris is playing great. It's going to be a joy to watch her for another 3 years.

Uh I believe I am watching and not disrespecting anybody. But UT is controlling the pace. KW would not allow that to happen. They are giving our guards the 12-15' shot. Gotta take em and make em. Will be very interesting to see if UT bench comes in and Karen's plan is to play all out and keep fresh bodies in the 2nd half. But no matter what, we have to make jumpers. You cannot live with the dribble drive all night or they will just pack it in. As soon as a few jumpers go in the Brown and Cox will take over. Big time question mark tonight on wants to take the shot.

Im positive we come out and blow this thing open. They can't stop us, but we can stop them.

Im all for us clearing the paint and letting Morris go one on one.

We can open this game up if we hit shots. UT just daring Cohen, Morris, Landrum and Richards to take that jumper. That will be what this comes down to. Hit the shots, open up the paint to let Cox and Brown go to work and you will see a 10-15 point win. If not, it will come down to a couple possessions. Hard to beat a team 3 times in one year. No matter what happens we are still an elite eight team. And from there its anybody's guess.

I love Morris but I don't like that she has taken 10 shots to lead the team in shots taken. She has made 4. Brown and cox cox and Brown.

For us to win, Cox has to start hitting those inside shots. They can't double Kalani and Cox. I like her D, though.

Kalani is awesome as always. Someone else has to step up, because they are fronting her.
Cohen seems a little off. Coming up short on shots.
Morriss is going to be so amazing over the next four years. I am very happy with how poised she is playing.

For us to be in this game with a freshman point guard is pretty amazing. The future is very bright.

We should be able to hit those 12' footers. This is what has kept us out of the FF the last two years. For some reason when other teams pack the paint we get tenative to take the open shot. Can't do that. That's what KW gives this team. She makes shots and then just like that the post players take over the game. This has to happen tonight with the other guards.
