Yep, there are not that many Cinderella teams as there are with the men. The top 16 seeds almost always advance.

WBB: No. 1 Baylor opens with ACU in NCAA Tournament
The Baylor Lady Bears are the top seed in the NCAAW Tournament and will play the first two games at home. The first opponent will be Abilene Christian (23-9). ACU will be coming in on a four game win streak culminating in a 69-68 victory over Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the Southland Women’s Tournament to secure their ticket to the dance.
