This is really bad basketball. They need to reduce the women's tournament to 32 teams.

Yep, there are not that many Cinderella teams as there are with the men. The top 16 seeds almost always advance.
When play is completed today, the 1 and 2 seeds are gonna have an average margin of victory exceeding 30 points. If they don't want to reduce the field to 32, then give the 1 and 2 seeds byes into the 2nd round to avoid these obvious mismatches.
The 1s and 2s need these games to knock the rust off, and the NCAA needs these games to draw a home crowd to the first round games. Ask Iowa if they got a game from Mercer.
Not much rust knocking off in the first half. Just sloppy passing and missed bunnies as you play down to competition. And using 1 of the 8 matchups with 1's and 2's doesn't do much to bolster any insights.

Don't watch it and there won't be any reason for you to complain about it.

IIRC, this isn't the fewest points scored by a Julie Goodenough coached team in Waco. Her last year at OkSt was I think the year we beat them 57-26 (2006)
