He had his girl foul so he could call timeout to yell at the refs. I'd complain but Kim basically did the same thing earlier.

Awesome win by the Lady Bears tonight! Several players really stepped up and that is a great sign at this time of year. We may get to see something really special this year.

WV is a really good team, beating both Tennessee and LSU this year. I know, LSU wasn't very good this year, but they did beat A&M. Mike Carey is a total class act. If the intentional foul at the end of the game was to complain about the way the game was called, it was totally warranted. The women's game deserves better. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Kim discussed that at the end of the game.

On to the Big12 Tournament! Sic'em!

I don't think the Big 12 Women officials have any idea what a charge is or isn't. If somebody falls down they want to call one. The older salt and pepper official tonight takes the cake as the absolute worst official I have ever seen. Just clueless. Game was called bad both ways. I hope Kim and W Vg. coach were talking about that.

It's a routine. It keeps things in rythem. And after a miss it serves as a "you got the next one" - a hand slap isn't always a congrats.

There was also a study done a few years back that addressed how physical touch during games improves performance.

That was the worst officiating I have ever seen at a Lady Bears game ...& I have watched these games for 15 years! Just embarrassing for women's basketball. They missed calls all over the court. Totally clueless. Mulkey and Carey were livid! Sure hope they file formal complaints...for whatever that is worth. Can't recall the last time Ferrell Center crowd was so vocal, booing the refs...they earned it.

Bill Brock has been working hard with Queen! The light came on and her game is improving rapidly!! Last ~3-4 games have show it. She will be a strong force in NCAAs if this level of play continues. Sic'em Queen!!!

Are you really trying to tell me that a point guard playing for Dawn Staley doesn't run the offense !!!!! Right !!! That's like saying a Point for Kim doesn't run the offense.
Her TO's numbers are higher then DiDi's yes but DiDi's TO's should be higher but she doesn't get dinged with TO's for her overpasses that reflect off teammates trying to save the ball from going out of bounds. As more and more teams pressure her you are going to see more steals and bad pass pickoffs for easy layups.

SC's Henderson plays the most minutes, averages the most minutes, leads SC in assists [by a mile], & is their 3rd leading scorer.

Her assist/turnover ratio isn't great. But SC is a terrible offensive team. Hard to get assists when teammates are bad shooters.

Saying that Henderson doesn't run the O at SC is plain silly.

Many post-season awards are about reputation and specific stats. Henderson isn't a top 5 PG but she is clearly a PG. FYI, Richards isn't a PG no matter how many assists she gets. She plays the position but it will never be her natural position.
