That's on coach. You really can't let a team as good as UConn go on a run like that. You have timeouts. Use them. I'm all for letting players play their way out but that's not the time. In hindsight I bet she wishes she had called on earlier.

Finally, there are plenty of girls who can hit the 3...no matter how much coach appears to hate the 3pt line we have got to find at least one that can hit that shot on a regular basis.

Very sad. They gave it their all.

I'm so pissed! Thank god kamaria, chrislyn and Maryam Dauda are on the way! I hope Didi and moon comes back! We are going to be a problem next year! I'm proud of our girls! No one thought we would get this far. We were up 9 before Didi got injured!

Typical shaft job for Baylor. No doubt the media and the NCAA wanted UConn to win. They are a great program but they know it was a bad call.

Also, from the pictures that's a pretty egregious no call. Bad whistles even out but man...

After the first part of the season, I didn't think this team was any better than a Sweet 16 team but they kept plugging and plugging and they go out in an Elite 8 game that should have been in the Final 4. So, disappointed tonight but feel like it was a very good season overall compared to what I thought it was gonna be earlier.

Two years ago, when Lauren Cox went down and we SOMEHOW still pulled out the NC, I said that we'd have to even the score at some point. I feel this was that game. Outside of about 4 minutes of game time, we outplayed. But the injury was hard to adjust to, and the no calls had been okay, but they changed to more calls when Didi went out and it didn't bode well for our momentum. You win some, you loose some. This one stings a lot like Tennessee did in our first ever Sweet 16. Hoping and praying that all three seniors come back. This will leave a salty taste in everyone's mouth, but I have to think that the ladies more than proved that they are far better than the 7th best team in the country. Out of ten games, we'd win 5 of them. Tonight just happened to not be one of those games. Still, super proud of a great season, no matter how many four letter words I let out with the lack of execution (and foul call) on the final play.

It was a noble effort on the part of the Lady Bears to crawl their way back into it after the injury and the UConn run. They showed they have the heart of a champion. Unfortunately, they could not overcome the injury and didn't get the call this time around.

Get down 12, come storming back to take 9 pts lead. Lose your best D player, give up 19 straight points, come back and lose on a questionable foul at the end.

Look at that photo. It wasn't even a close call. She got fouled by both of them and #3 hit her in the face and bodied her to the ground. Total BS. What a gutsy performance. Not a very good look on last possession but she should've been on the line to win it. This stings.

Sure it was. Appreciate her effort. She would just be more effective by distributing the ball a little more. She shoots at too low of a percentage at too high a volume. It's nothing against her as a person.

Refs tend to swallow the whistle last few minutes. If Di Di doesnt pull her hammy, we win. We still almost pulled it out.

Heartbreaker

I reaaaaaallly hope Didi opts to come back along with Moon, we'll be very guard heavy, but that's definitely what we lacked. Didi would get to go back to her natural position as well.

Highly doubt it, but I do expect Moon back over the others.

Big picture - the Selection Committee needs to work on their seeding - this would have been one hell of a NC game that would have grown the sport - wouldn't surprise me if UCONN heads to the NC by a 20 point margin on Friday.

Looking at the replay, they probably didn't call it because Carrington was slihtly falling away instead of goingbinto contact. It was still a foul nonetheless.

Sarah Andrews will be better as well, need Gusters to shed a few pounds and get into game shape, we'll be back soon.

oh and we'll have our own Paige in 2 years with Sammie

Paige Bueckers is the best women's bball player. No shame in losing to her.

For sure, SC should've been nowhere near a 1 seed with 4 Ls. That was just wrong.

Remember this isn't a foul either.

Hoping that this isn't the start of another Elite 8 hump; I had a strong confidence in the fact that we would bring home a NC. I'm spoiled, but wanted a second NC ring for Didi and this group of ladies.
