We were ripped by the officials on that last play. Definitely a foul and we should have been shooting free throws. Had it been the other way around the officials would have been tripping over themselves to call one for Geno.

Crap call

Three things that cost us the game:
1. Didi got hurt
2. Poor play call at the end
3. Horrible no call on the last shot. You gotta see that or this is your last big game.

I just don't understand how your best offensive player was a spectator in large parts of the 4th quarter? If I didn't follow this team, I would have thought that Carrington was the Baylor go-to offensive player based on the offense running through her the entire 4th quarter. Nothing against Carrington, b/c she is a gamer, but isn't Smith objectively Baylor's best offensive option?

Credit to your opponent. That was the two best teams coming down to a final play. That's how you want every game. Just on the wrong side of this one. Unfortunate to lose didi but FT shooting has been an issue all year (it is an excellent predictor of W/L in tournament games). Hard to be too upset. Easier to be upset that we got robbed of another banner last year because we were almost certainly going to win it all last year.

Ridiculous that this was an EE game.

I believed so much that I don't even feel as let down as I should. The Lady Bears played themselves into having a chance in the final second. There is no shame in that.

Smith is definitely frustrated losing this, she felt like the ball should've been in her hand every time those last 2 min, and rightfully so.

The UConn run was definitely a difference maker. However that game ending hammer job no-call sums up the necessity for NCAA to get some quality refs.

I think many of you will agree with me that if DiDi Richards didn't get injured, the Baylor Lady Bears would have defeated the UConn Huskies tonight.

Too many bad decisions. You never let the officials decide the game with a no call. And that one would have been a tough call in real time.

I'm done here - headed to CBS, pray for a different result there at 9:00.

I think Andrews and Gusters are gonna be really good players for us eventually but the gap between her talent level and their's is monstrous.

Heartbreaking loss. I know Didi went down but a 19-0 run is going to be hard to survive, especially against UConn. Selfishly hoping the seniors come back next year for another run.

Even if you believe Jess committed the foul there you have to swallow the whistle. You cannot, under any circumstance, make that call. That was the most mind boggling foul call I've ever seen considering the circumstances. That person should have been fired and never called another game at any level.

If you've followed Baylor lady's basketball over the years, you could see the cray-cray coming a mile away.

And it arrived right on schedule.

How was that foul (s) not called against U Conn at the end?

I know blown calls happen every game but the turning point was Didi getting hurt. UConn is just too good to beat short handed. Had that not happened, the Lady Bears were going to run them out of the gym. Sad for those girls.
