Sensitive Mack will never hire her because she does rude things like flip the bird and will fight for what she believes in. Sound familiar??? That said, she would be great! I love her fire and passion!!! Big Mack Attack won't like that though.
Between the two of them, they have a combined 42 years coaching experience with only 2 spent in any capacity at the college level.Texasjeremy said:

Yeah, I know. Normally I would go for someone that has a ton of head coaching experience at the college level, but in this case, if we were able to get them, I think this would be a fantastic hire. They appear to be 2 excellent coaches. Normally all of that pro experience wouldn't matter as much, but I think the way college basketball is going with the free agent like approach, that would be a plus in this case (they have to be very well connected).whitetrash said:Between the two of them, they have a combined 42 years coaching experience with only 2 spent in any capacity at the college level.Texasjeremy said:

Tang is just a funny comment at this stage. I also would look at a close to retiring pro-player like Taurasi, Bird, or someone of that nature. Bring their ability to connect with players and understanding the game/process with the WNBA, could be a good start.Stefano DiMera said:
I mentioned her on several threads..
How about Tang!

Taurasi, a former UConn player, has gone on record heaping tons of criticism on Baylor She defended her teammate Griner, about how horrible Griner must have had it attending a university like Baylor. If you think Taurasi will agree to be the head coach of Baylor, you are ignoring who these people are.

Adia Barnes is coaching at her alma mater, Arizona. She's a west coast girl. Most importantly, her husband and asst. coach, Salvo Coppa, is not going to put up with Mack. I would be shocked if Adia came here. Just do not see her coming to Waco, Texas. I think the money would have to be enormous, although everyone has their price. My fear would be if she has success here, she would leave for a west coast job later. But I could be wrong.Bruin92 said:bawitdaball said:

She is the one to pursue. Proven winner. The problem is..if these guys on the premium board are right...we're going to try and save money with this move
If true Mack is going to land Baylor back into gender equity issues, which ironically were largely resolved in large part by the hiring of Kim.Bruin92 said:bawitdaball said:

Of course Baylor is going to save money with this move. Only true idiots would pay a new head coach not-named Geno Auriemma or Kim Mukley $2.2M per year. Oh wait................Bruin92 said:bawitdaball said:

Where is Bird or Taurasi mentioned ???
If his response was in regards to Taurasi and Bird then he should have clicked on the " at the bottom of the post he was responding too like most posters on this site do instead of just putting his post out there with no reference or context and expecting everyone to know what or who he was posting about.
Just because he respond to a post does not mean that several other posts will have posted before his hits the board and there is no way anyone knows who he is exactly posting about.
.
So your the ****ing fool ...you calm down and teach him how to use the board
You are right...probably not a really good time to be raising gender equality issues either...PartyBear said:If true Mack is going to land Baylor back into gender equity issues, which ironically were largely resolved in large part by the hiring of Kim.Bruin92 said:bawitdaball said:

Probably like Kim... wrong personality, etc. She flipped the bird instead of circling, grasping hands and singing Kumbaya.bawitdaball said:
