I think Indiana and Iowa are overranked and we are ranked fairly to start but I believe we will be much higher at the end and surprise a number of teams in front of us!

Sounds about right to me. UConn & SC just keep bringing in top players. And yes Indiana & may or may not belong.

That's about where we should be. Overall, a pretty good assessment of the Top 10.

I cannot separate South Carolina, UCONN and Stanford, they are the top tier. If Baylor can create team chemistry, I like us at 4th, just ahead of Maryland.

Preseason rankings in any sport are ridiculous.

They are a tool to drive views to media pages. The lack of alignment between beginning and ending Top Ten lists are annual reminders that media experts simply are not experts.

I love that we're getting a shot a Maryland this season. They're going to be a tough out, very talented with depth and experience at practically every position. After UT burst their bubble of overconfidence in the NCAA's I don't expect them to overlook anyone again. I am so looking forward to that game! Sic Em

I just know that this Pre-season ranking has pissed off a few "LADY" Bears. A few have been getting in extra work and even working out as late as 2am. I don't believe they should be ranked #10. Way too low, but they'll just have to prove to everyone that they DO deserve to be ranked higher. Can't wait for the season to start. The Maryland game will open alot of eyes and answer alot of questions in regards to where they should be ranked.

As for me, I will be shocked if the Lady Bears finish the season ranked in the top 10 nationally. Pleasantly shocked. I believe we are about to see more losses come this season than a lot of you want to believe, today, will happen. But they will.

Yes the Lady Bears finish with an enjoyable .700+ overall record. But, there will be no BigXII ring, no Top 10 ranking, and a 2nd round exit from the NCAA's this time around. Good momentum to continue the rebuild/reconstruction into the 2022/23 season.

Prepare to be shocked.

Wait, isn't UT supposed to be in every preseason poll regardless of the sport?

Say that to the 2013-2014 team when all we had coming into that season was Odyssey Sims! We ended up winning the big 12 and made it to the elite 8! We're not going anywhere

Oh they'll be in the top 25 poll. This is just a top ten.
