I wish we had kept Teoscar. Liriano was not worth it.

Is he the guy who collided with Altuve in the outfield when he was with the Astros?
Yup. I actually had to look that up. lol

I couldn't remember his name for sure, but I remember thinking that was not a way to stick with the big league club!

I question the production of the Astros' third outfielder and Jake greets me with a three run homer. lol

Jake has had himself a game tonight. Mashed one, robbed one.

Alex would be more of a stud for my fantasy team if his fielding percentage wasn't so low.

Now, for the elephant in the room...

Sup with our lead off spot? George needs prayer, Jobu, rabbits foot, something. Maybe a night or two off, gotta get out of this funk.

When this happened last year, he came around just fine. I bet he will go on hot streak soon.

he gets in a funk when he tries to pull everything.... when we see him hit it hard opposite field then we know he is about to go off

Yes. His flyout to right that would have been a game tying three run homer if it wasn't caught was hit pretty well. I expect he will come around sooner rather than later.

Way to go, Bregman!

Alex Freaking Bregman.

5 doubles and 2 home runs in his last 9 at bats.
2 walk-offs on this homestand that came with the Astros trailing!

Bregman is straight up ballin' right now. He knew that ball was gone, didn't even watch it all the way, he just flipped his bat and started jogging. Go 'Stros!!!

He's getting better every month of his career, too. He just pulled ahead of Correa on the team home run list, and pulled within 1 of Springer and Gattis.

Now that Altuve is signed long-term, the Astros need to focus all their re-signing attention on Carlos Correa. But Bregman is a clear second on the priority list. Every else, including Springer, is lower priority. That being said, you still have 2.5 years left with Springer, so Houston has got a while to decide.

More voting pressure on Correa. Unlike Bregman, no way Correa is a backup selection.

The Mariners are making a joke out of the 1-run game MLB records. The Angels led the league last year with 27 1-run wins. The Mariners, already, have 26 1-run wins. 26-11 on the year. Statistical outliers are fun.

Lloyd Waner went 77 games without striking out. Baseball is fun.

What's with those pesky mariners? I believe in the 2nd half the stros will distance themselves. Also it is quite reasonable to be skeptical about the Astros facing the Yankees or Red Sox in the post season. It is hard to repeat and those teams are much stronger this year.

We have better title odds than both. Also have a better bullpen than both.

Might need 7 games for either of them, but I love our chances at a repeat.

As for los marineros, I'm not worried.
