Last week for my 40th birthday, I had a gathering of family and friends, and I had someone sing the national anthem every hour on the hour (my birthday is on the 3rd, so it was a patriotic themed party.

I'm skeptical about the drunk story. Probably had a few drinks, but even slobbering drunk, a professional singer shouldn't be that out of tune.

Every live band you go see if basically high or drunk while performing.
