Star Tight End Michael Trigg Signs with Cowboys as UDFA Following All-American Season
Baylor tight end Michael Trigg went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft but signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent, according to Jeremy Fowler.
Trigg earned Second-Team All-American and First-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2025, as he hauled in 50 receptions for 694 yards and six touchdowns across 11 contests. He was a Mackey Award Finalist as the nation’s best tight end.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Trigg went viral multiple times last fall for his insane one-handed grabs and was viewed by some as a top-five tight end prospect in the 2026 draft class.
In his first season as a Bear in 2024, Trigg was named the Second-Team All-Big 12 after catching 30 balls for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
The Tampa Bay, Florida, native was a top-150 prospect in the 2021 recruiting class and started his career at USC before eventually transferring to Ole Miss and later Baylor ahead of the 2024 season.
