There's no reason why the ASStros should be behind Seattle with that rotation they have. They legit have five aces on that team.

Here are a few reasons:
1. The Astros have played the hardest Strength of Schedule in all of baseball.
2. The Mariners have played the 22nd hardest SoS.
3. 7 games of Negative Variance for the Astros. (Expected 46 wins, actual 39 wins)
4. 5 games of Positive Variance for the Mariners (Expected 34 wins, actual 39 wins).

The Strength of Schedule will even out. For instance, the Astros don't play another currently over .500 team until after the All-star break.
The Variances usually even out, although it's not as dependable (i.e. the Rangers took until 2016 for 2015 positive variance to come back to Earth).

The Astros are fine. 162 game schedule. I would even say the Angels will finish ahead of Seattle. Don't get me wrong. The AL West has the best winning % in baseball. The Mariners are a great team. They are 16 games over .500. The reigning 104-win, National League Champion Los Angeles Dodgers are 0 games over .500. Now there's a team to direct your "there's no reason why" take towards. But I understand that Los Angeles doesn't get under Baylor-Rangers fans skin the way the Houston ASStros do.

Asstros pitchers have hit 6 batters; Profar has been hit 3 times. That has to be a record to be hit 3 times in 1 game.

I did'nt like that at all.

Our Rangers might be short on talent but they're not quitters; giving the Asstros all they can handle right now.
6-6 in the bottom of the 5th, the last of 4 very competitive games in this series.
