Yeah basically just 1 win or two in general within next 6 or 7 games should be enough to make ncaa tournament in my opinion. It's not that the conference tournament will have "bad losses" because baylor will not face Iowa state in the big 12 tournament. Kansas is number 50 RPI, and Baylor could face them depending on tiebreakers with Oklahoma state if both Kansas and Oklahoma state have the same conference record. Anyways no problem.

There's zero chance… zero chance 1-5 gets this team into the post season. Unless you're talking about Sidtbslls version of the NIT

With 6 Q1 games left I’d say avoid going 0-6 and win at least one B12 they’re probably in a good spot unless there’s a lot of stolen mid major bids.

This changes RPI for Oklahoma state and Wichita State.

Then tell that to certain 3 sec schools who are barely above .500 overall with RPI better than 45 including one who has an RPI of 29. You can look up their schedules for those respective schools if you want. One thing that all 3 sec schools must do at minimum to be considered for ncaa tournament is to be at least .500. If they don't they won't be considered. Sure they can have good RPI, but a losing overall record will not help them unless they win conference tournament. Auburn may still get in despite a barely .500 record due to RPI and strength of schedule. You could the same potentially for Kentucky and Missouri but depends on what both do for the rest of the season.

Not all records are created equal. What's Baylor's conference record I. The SEC? Probably like 3-18. My opinion is unchanged. A team hovering around .500 doesn't deserve the tournament and that would include the SEC teams. But that's a classic Apples to Oranges comparison. Ultimately this won't matter because we've seen all year how overmatched Baylor is against teams with a pulse
