The consensus on here a few days ago was that it would be tough for them to do better than 0-6 in the last 2 series (vs ranked OSU & ranked TT). So far that's going right on schedule

I'm afraid Friday night's game was the last shot BU had to be competitive this season. Missed a great opportunity to take one against a much better opponent. I do t think we get that opportunity again this season

BU isn't a run producing machine against good pitching. They sure won't be against great pitching.

I watched 5 1/2 innings of this game. TT wins 5-0, BU produces 1 hit in 7 innings. It just keeps getting harder by the year to take any interest at all in BU sports. I know = Tumbling wins NC's. Wow, just not into that. I like Touchdowns, Home Runs and Baskets.

men's tennis hosts the first 2 rds. Starts tomorrow night.

Just more proof that you need elite pitching in this sport. Baylor didn't play poorly, Tech only got 5 hits, but BU pitching gave them 7 walks and a 3 run HR while a couple were on base. The BU defense limited Tech to 1 run early when we walked the bases loaded with 0 out; then later allowed Tech only 1 run with the bases loaded and 1 out.

Oh yes, walking so many batters just loads the bases up. TT didn't overly impress me but they're miles ahead of BU at this point. They have more wins than any other team in the nation including #1 OU.
