For everyone posting on BU sports I wish to legalize my ability to post. My background is as follows: When I graduated from HS I was a D1 recruit in 3 different sports. I chose BU and I have 4 letters in MBB and 1 in track. I am a math major with a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and math/PE. I coached and taught several years of which I was HC in 3 different sports and assistant in another. As HC of MBB we got to the state finals. As baseball coach we were in the playoffs every year. I eventually went into administration and retired 30yrs ago as an asst. supt. I have lived in Waco off and on for about 15 yrs. I exited Waco when Kim left. I am a friend with her and a very close friend with Glenn. He has a great staff. While in Waco I attended every sport having season tics and was each booster club except FB. I am an invested in BU sports. I watch 90+% of all games. I presently reside out of State. Coaching remains in blood. I know when a coaching staff is delivering based on what they are doing and what they are given. Anyone knows that posting is a right..only if they live up to the 365 code which you agreed when you signed on. I have never challenged that. What irks me is individuals who make statements without any critical thinking. And by reading some posts it is very possible they have never had a course in "critical thinking". Lastly, with age comes wisdom. I am 84 yrs of age and remain in good physical condition. Have a great day.

The pitching is average at best. The hitting sucks. The stats all support that. But carry on glazing 28-24 with loses to some truly pathetic squads.
Last night was great. It doesn't take away from the fact that this team massively underachieved. And show me proof Baylor has $0 invested NiL wise for softball. Until shown otherwise I'm going to believe that's a bull**** lie

How can I show you something that doesn't exist. Just call Glenn and ask him. I know I talk to him every 7-10 days. The last NIL money he received was last year and I gave it to him (which was very little). Now, under BU interpretation of NIL rules I cannot. What ability do you have to evaluate how talented a pitcher or any other play is? Have you played, coached, been taught how to evaluate? I hear quite frequently "man he/she is really good". How they really good.

claiming you cant contribute directly to softball nil is hilarious. I give directly to specific sports right now as do tons of others. Who told you that?

Also what 40mil are you ranting about? Revenue share is capped at 20.5mil annually. Of course fball gets the most followed by mbb. They make money, no other sports do. You want nil money for softball? The fans are the only ones who fund nil. If a program wants it then go fundraise it by getting donors to give it.

And nobody cares that you coached nor worked in education. Literally nobody asked. Everybody can talk about any sport they want and how they want. Nobody asked for your qualifications that you felt needed to be stated. Our softball program needs a serious overhaul as does baseball, equestrian, and football too tbh. We dont compete for big 12 titles. We make an occasional tournament. 25 years and very little to show for it. No cws appearance in years.

I said I know for a fact you can give nil directly. If you contact the head of our NIL, he will tell you what is needed to do so or if your donation should instead go to help offset revenue share.

We didn't just get smoked.

We got a beatdown for the ages!

NiJaree Canady threw a perfect game on us, and we got run-ruled on national TV to boot!

Which is why no one on here should have been bragging about last night's upset, when there was an angry Tech team waiting right around the corner for today's game.

We were absolutely going to get worked today. That was almost a 100% guarantee.

Just didn't see the perfect game happening (it was actually Canady's first perfect game).
