Former Baylor Bear had his career best finish (so far) this week at the Houston Open (T3rd). He's a young kid that just started his pro career (only played about 5 events in 2025); I'm not sure if he's still considered a rookie or not, he's played about 14 total events now. He's got a lot of game and looks like he could have a pretty successful career. The Tour goes to San Antonio now which is sorta a 'home event' for him.

Really shocked he hasn't been covered on this board. Johnny is drawing accolades from the golfing world. Brandell Chamblee spent 15 minutes analyzing his swing recently and put it on par with names like Ben Hogan. Johnny is just now getting comfortable with the tour and yesterday proved it. I predict a win this year!

That is especially impressive to me from Jimmy. As far as I know he has not played much competitive golf this year. That is a hell of a score on that track.
