Today he started with a bogey and then posted three birdies to shoot -2 and is tied for 47th at -7.

Nate Lashley is running away with it at -23! Can't play for pars on this course.

If he can go -7 tomorrow he can finish in the top 3 all time for final PGA score relative to par. Not bad for a guy coming in as 3rd alternate

Again he made bogey on the first hole, but has recovered with three birdies on the front and two more on the back. He's -4 this round thru 13 and has moved up to 22nd. Horschel is -8 on his round, so birdies are there for the taking.

He finished with birdies on 17 and 18 to shoot -6 today! He's tied for 13th at -13.

Jimmy was SMOKIN' today, 7 birdies offset a single bogey on the 1st hole

His 6 under (66) vaulted him all the way up to tied 13th currently

Going to be kicking himself for those 2 doubles a couple rounds back.

He's sitting at 20th right now. I can't recall him having a finish as high as the 20s this year. This might be his best finish

You're right boognish, Jimmy has played 15 events this year (this week is 16). His top 3 finishes so far are 19th, 23rd, & 30th; and he's missed 5 cuts. This week will be only his 4th top 30 finish in 16 events (25% - not good).

Jimmy is in the field at the 3M Open in Minnesota this week; time to build on his good finish last week.

-3 through 13 tied for 12th. Nice start so far.

Matsuyama has the lead at -7 through 14....and looks like he's about to birdie again

Now -4 through through 16 and tied for 7th...3 strokes off the lead!

Damn it....Jimmy entered the par 5 18th hole at -4 in a tie for 7th place. Bombs a drive 313 to left side of the fairway. Ends up putting 2 shots in the water....ends by dunking a 44 yd bunker shot to at least "save" double bogey.

Is it just me....or is this becoming a reoccurring thing with him spoiling great rounds on one of the last 2 holes to end his rounds?

He finished -2 and is tied for 25th and currently sits 5 strokes off the lead.

Seems like he's had way more doubles than average lately.

Jimmy's 2 under is tied 44th; had he avoided the big number on 18 and posted 4 under he'd be tied 11th.

Thru 9 he's -1 and -3 overall which is right on the cut line. Leader is -14!

He finished at -3 (T70th) which is right on the cut line. He had another good day (4 birdies) ruined by another double bogey after he rinsed his Titleist on #2. Take away the 2 doubles he's made and he would be tied 23rd at -7.

Kyle Jones also made the cut on the number.

Even thru 8 holes, still near the bottom of the pack.

Walker started on the back and made three bogies offset by two birdies. On the front he made two birdies and two bogeys before making eagle on 7 by holing a bunker shot on the short par 4. He's tied for 74th at -4.

Jimmy not playing this week, i assume he's heading over to Royal Portrush early to prepare for the Open.

+3 first round, currently tied for 110. That will improve as the second group finishes. Leader at -4. Not a disaster, but not real good.

Jimmy is tied 101st, not good at all. My guess is the cut tomorrow will be about 1 over, meaning Jimmy is going to have to shoot under par (something in the 67-69 range I think).

Now he's 94, lil better. Still, make the cut Jimmy, sic em.
