Lady Bears earn a #2 seed and will open at home against Abilene Christian Saturday (11/10) at 7:30PM. ACU is 15-5-1 on the year and are the champs of the Southland Conference tournament. The Lady Bears beat the Lady Wildcats 2-0 back on August 16th at BLMF.

West Virginia also received a #2 seed and will open against Radford @ 3:00PM Saturday. Texas was awarded a #4 seed and will play host to Virginia Tech on Friday at 7:00PM. Texas Tech earned a bid and will play in Baylor's side of the bracket. The Lady Raiders will host Princeton in the first round at 6:00PM Friday. TCU will host BYU in a first round match on Friday at 7:00PM in Ft. Worth. Kansas will host St. Louis in first round play at 7:05PM on Friday.

Georgetown earned the top seed in Baylor's bracket, while the other #1s were North Carolina, Florida State, and top overall seed Stanford.

West Virginia's 3-0 win over Baylor in the Big XII tournament final dropped the Lady Bears from 3rd to 5th in the RPI, while the Lady Mountaineers moved from 9th to 6th.
