I was at the Hurd Tennis Center. (T-Rex was there too.) We saw the #23 ranked Baylor women's tennis team defeat Rice this afternoon, 7-0. After claiming the Doubles team point, Baylor completed a sweep with wins in all 6 singles matches. 5 of them were straight sets wins by Mel Krywjo, Alicia Herrero Linara, Kristina Sorokolet, Livia Kraus, and Angelina Shakhraichuk. Jessica Hinojosa was down a set and 5-3, but rallied to win the 2nd set in a tiebreaker, and then the 3rd Set Super-tiebreaker for a great comeback win. Joey Scrivano and Baylor Women's Tennis improves to 3-0 in the 2021 season.
