Vote with your wallet if you hate the gays, don't go and see the film. Capitalism is beautiful.
It sure is.

The libs in DC and elsewhere have capitalism down to a science.

They are among the wealthiest in politics.

But shhhhh.....don't admit it.

Keeping themselves fat and happy and rich, while pandering to the "unwashed" on the other side of the tracks to keep them that way, is their unspoken mantra.

Take their liberal limos to the other side of town every few years and with a little wave, here and there, get their votes, and then run back to the Upper Westside and Eastside of NYC, West LA/Beverly Hills, and Russian Hill, never to lay eyes on those constituents again. Until they need their vote. The next time.

Or if you're not gay or simply believe in traditional Judeo-Christian morals, but what's the difference in your mind, amiright?

You're wrong as usual, but good for you for entertaining the idea. Hating gays isn't the sole reason to avoid this film, but it's the most likely reason the majority of this board won't see it.

I won't see it, and I view gay people as normal people. I too am tired at being preached at.
I won't see it. I don't hate gay people. I just don't want to see it. Just because it grosses me out to see to guys swap spit, doesn't mean I hate them as person, it means that I don't want to be grossed out.

But glad to see you jump to the reason being "hate", how very tolerable of you.

Is reading truly this hard?

You left out that part. You know, the part where you tried to accuse the majority of people of you know, of hate.

Thought I'd make myself clear

You're telling me most of this board isn't homophobic? I don't believe you.

Nice deflection. I don't blame you for skimming but plz, words have meaning. I explicitly said a thing, and you tried to assign the opposite view of that thing to me. No need to further the war on the dictionary.
Wow dude, lol.... First you ask me if reading is hard, so I throw your exact words back at you, then you tell me words have meaning. Once again, look at your words, you try to accuse most everyone of homophobia because they don't want to see it.

New flash, I don't give two squats if someone is gay. Watching it grosses me out, so I'll choose to skip that movie. If I'm in Vegas at the blackjack table and two gay people sit down to play, I'll have a good time chatting up with them. If they decide to make out at the table, then I'll leave. Much like I would leave if I saw an ugly white trash trailer park redneck bubba and sissy couple type do the same thing.

I know it's impossible in your world, but you can be grossed out homosexuality and not hate the person,, unless a person is truly an awful human being. Example, I'd rather spend a day hanging out with Elton John than spend 2 minutes talking to Alec Baldwin.

I'm not sure how hard this is for you, but I will dumb it down. I've interacted with many people who will take the statement of "some people of this type do x thing" and turned it around to say "omg you think everyone of this type does x." Do you understand how those are in fact not the same, or even similar, but so separate they cannot both be true? This is the sort of intellectual dishonesty I expect from rabid zealots on this forum.

I think before we can talk about the other portions of your post, you would need to first have a meeting with logic and reality. I won't hold my breath.
Wow, your lack of self awareness is astounding

Bombing at the box office

'Bros' Fails at the Box Office, as 'Smile' Arrives at No. 1
Promoted as the first gay romantic comedy from a major studio, "Bros" sold $4.8 million in tickets, about 40 percent less than expected.
There is no easy way to say it: When the reviews are this sensational, the marketing support is this substantive and the theatrical footprint is this wide and ticket sales are nonetheless this low it usually amounts to outright marketplace rejection.
"Bros," the first gay romantic comedy from a major studio, arrived to an estimated $4.8 million in ticket sales in the United States and Canada, about 40 percent less than the low end of prerelease analyst expectations. Universal Pictures booked "Bros" onto 3,350 screens and spent an estimated $30 million to $40 million to promote it. "Bros," starring Luke Macfarlane and Billy Eichner, who also co-wrote the script, cost roughly $22 million to make. It received mostly positive reviews.
Yet it was a distant fourth at the weekend box office. "We'll see where we go from here," Jim Orr, Universal's president of domestic distribution, said by phone on Sunday. "We're incredibly proud of the film, and I really believe there is going to be great word of mouth."

I doubt this movie does very well at the box office bc it really only appeals to the AWFLs and gay people. I doubt very many straight men will go see this and if they do then I feel sorry for them.
I think it is a reflection of where Hollywood is and where the country is going.
It may be a reflection of where Hollywood is but i dont think the rest of the country is going there. Most of the rest of the country is rejecting that. Just look at the movies from the summer. Maverick made a billion dollars and buzz lightyear flopped and lost money. Most woke movies are garbage and fail miserably at the box office.

Pushing LGBQT+ ideology was never about what the majority wanted. It was and is about playing to elite liberal class values.
bingo. elites have to virtue posture about something, to show they care, to justify their position as elites. Good new is, ours have worked their way thru all the noble causes and are down to ones that affect about .06% of the population (trans)..... So we're about out of things to virtue posture about.
