More poof that "invade the world, invite the world" is a disaster.

The Neo-Cons and the Bush Republicans should be expelled from the GOP forever.

The Iraq war went on for 8 long years. Cost the lives of 5,000 Coalition soldiers and 40,000 wounded. It cost at least $1.9 trillion. And somewhere between 200,000-1 Million Iraqis died.

What a disaster in terms of money, lives, and honor.

So, if Mr. Pillow ran an advertisement on Ms. Griffin's page, then she loses credibility in your eyes? Makes a lot of sense, bro.

Well said.

20 years of post-9/11 wars have cost the U.S. an estimated $8 trillion and have killed more than 900,000 people.

Specifically the tweet was about how MyPillow got "cancelled", and said that true believers could purchase them directly from the MyPillow website. Not a banner ad on their page mind you, but a tweet posted by the actual account. A supposed news account, telling people to purchase MyPillows, owned by super Trumpy/Q-Anon freak Mike Lindell...

Perhaps they have a MyPillow, found it to be a fantastic product thus worthy of advocating for those in the pillow purchasing market, and don't make all their commercial product purchases based on the political leanings of the company CEO. You know, like normal people?

The helicopter appears to have landed NEAR the Embassy but not IN the Embassy.

The Embassy had already (late last year) issued an order for departure of dependents and non-essentials, and closed the Consulate. That does not exactly leave a "skeleton crew. That requires a second ordered departure of non-essentials, which I cannot find evidence has happened.

It is normal in political unrest to have Embassy employees stay home. Not that the homes are more secure than embassy but rather the transiting of the city poses undue risk of getting caught up in a fauda. That said, given that this is Baghdad we're talking about, would suspect a high percentage of US personnel live in the Green Zone (where this helo landed) for obvious reasons.

Find the flattops and you'll get an idea of how situation is being assessed in WDC. The Navy will probably have the evac mission here.

I said you were incompetent if you could not tell whether it was more likely than not, on a particular day, that the US embassy in Iraq had, in fact, been evacuated. It is what it is. It isn't a matter of agreeing with me or not. A competent individual should have no problem determining whether it is more likely than not that the US embassy had been evacuated. The fact that you say you don't know shows you are incompetent.

Ummm, no. But keep barking at the moon.

If you aren't capable of analyzing a variety of sources, even independent of any State Department statements, to determine the likelihood of something like the evacuation of a U.S. embassy, you just aren't very competent.
If you are not capable of analyzing a variety of sources, even independent memos allegedly from a national guard officer in 1973, to determine the truthfulness of a politically significant allegation, then you are just not very competent. Or the news media gets it wrong or worse.

If you are not capable of analyzing a variety of sources, even dossiers authored by an ostensibly disinterested foreign intelligence officer, to determine the truthfulness of a politically significant allegation, then you are just not very competent. Or the news media and our government gets it wrong or worse.

And?
I suspect Dan Rather saw what he wanted to see. It took a very short time for someone to debunk it.
I suspect you see what you want to see. And then name call when people don't agree with you.

Keep on barking, grumpy grandpa.
