Representative Mike Johnson (R., La.), the fourth House Republican to be nominated for the speakership this month, secured the necessary 217 votes to be elected to the post on Wednesday afternoon, ending weeks of uncertainty within the caucus.

The guy is a nut who thinks that the USA is the new promised land. That belief is contrary to the gospels and Jesus' teaching. JC was more interested in reign of God.

Johnson does believe in science because he is a young earth believer which result in believing that the Earth is only 10,000 years old. That kind of thinking is ludicrous, and absolutely, dumbfounding
