If you are saying being a liar is anti-American, okay, but you would be including nearly every politician in Washington with that criteria. This thread is a good example of the irrationality and ass-hattery of the US political landscape in general. What a fustercluck. Mainstream media largely abdicated its proper responsibilities to the public as the fourth estate, and instead melded into partisan party politics. Add the two-party primary system, social media, and the resulting effect on group dynamics, and you're left with a cesspool. Be interesting to see how well/long this great country with the momentum of all of its current industry/entrepreneurs/researchers/infrastructure can survive this totally inept federal governance (whichever party has how much influence).

Have you considered that if you don't vote GOP at the state level you won't have a chance at all of getting Fiscal conservatism?
