Biden is a ****ing disaster. He's moved to the extreme left on many of his positions, and now caters to the craziest leftist elements of his party. The fact that Trump is beating him in the polls should tell one all they need to know about what a disaster he's been.

Can you imagine if the Republicans were actually running a decent candidate against him? He/she would be wiping the floor with Biden.
Unfortunately, you are correct. If R's had a decent candidate, they would hammer Biden and it wouldn't be close, but we have Trump. Just a pathetic excuse of a candidate. He is crazy and a Psychopath .
The R's could have a decent candidate. There are plenty of them available. Trump has created a block of about 35% of the electorate that would run through a brick wall for him. They really are crazy for him. Too large a block for anybody to make a dent against him in the primary elections. Of course I know you know all this, I still just marvel at the fact he can keep such a large block of folks in his pocket. Especially Republican politicians.
His sycophants are many, and generally less-informed and easily susceptible to conspiracy theories. When you have a dumb, uneducated lot of people that adhere to your cult of personality and will vote for you no matter what, that's difficult for any candidate to overcome.
How many times have you voted for him?
Twice, and I will do so again in 2024. As bad as Trump is, any actual conservative who prefers the disastrous policies of Biden to Trump is off their rocker.
Trump is NO conservative. He's a pandering grifter.
There is probably a lot of truth here. But you know what's also true - Biden is FAR worse. His policies have been disastrous for anyone who values conservative beliefs.
they are both an unmitigated disaster.

Trump is more of a Bill Clinton moderate. But without Bills verbal sophistication.

Please explain to me how Biden is ethically and morally superior.

Give me Bill Clinton 100 times over the deranged morally bankrupt Trump ...

I know it should not shock me to hear that coming from you…but it still is wild to see you commit in print to the idea that Trump is morally bankrupt but Bill freaking Clinton is not.

Besides the rapes and sexual assaults…the Clinton bunch have been engaged in every amoral political cash-for-influence scheme you can think of going back to their days in Arkansas.

Next time you are in highland park hanging out with your ole buddy George Bush ask him about the moral character of Bill Clinton

This is the elephant in the room. For a very long time now, voters have learned that most Republicans only care about ordinary people when they are running for re-election. Promises were made to stop obscene spending, reform Social Security, put originalist judges on courts, make our nation safer from foreign threats, and focus on traditional American values. But from Gerald Ford to the Bushes, from John McCain to Mitt Romney, from John Boehner to Kevin McCarthy, from Trent Lott to Mitch McConnell, those promises are forgotten the moment the election is over.

Donald Trump won over his base in 2016 by making very specific promises, and in the minds of his base did more than any Republican since Teddy Roosevelt to actually follow through. What stunned me after 2020 was talking to people in my work and neighborhood, and learning how many still regard Trump as the only candidate they trust to actually do what he promises.

They don't care about the courtroom drama.

They don't care about his inability to shut up.

They don't care about whether he had an affair.

The only Republican right now who genuinely can win their vote is Trump. I talked about Cruz and DeSantis, but they don't have Trump's credit with the base. I talked about the young generation and got shrugs.

Candidates are not supposed to be interchangeable, and this year they really are not. For 2026 and 2028, the GOP had better find a way to establish credibility with voters, or whatever happens in November 2024 won't matter in the long term.
Biden would beat any other Republican in a Reagan'esque blowout.

GOP has absolute contempt for its voters. I'm willing to bet McConnell and his cabal will write another abortion/IVF bill or pull some stupid stunt to give dems a bone to campaign on. Just like Lindsay Graham pulled off for midterms.

Complete and total bullsh. I've seen you make this absurd comment before, and you couldn't support it then just like you can't support it now.

Polls showed that both DeSantis and Haley would have beaten Biden worse than Trump. The only reason it's close is because Trump is so despised by half of America.

I had almost forgotten how the GOP does stuff like that on the reg.

Like right before a major election they start talking about cutbacks to Medicare or a regime change war in Iran.

The kinds of things so stupid in a close election that you can only conclude that the GOP is controlled opposition.

Once again, polls said otherwise with respect to Haley and DeSantis. I previously posted 3 just a few months ago (before they dropped out) that had them beating Biden by 3-4 points. Trump was even at the time, or losing.

Now, I of course agree that Trump's sycophants have a warped view of reality, believing that Trump accomplished much when his record was quite a mixed bag, and the guy spent like a drunken liberal. The question will be, can Trump pull in enough voters outside of his hard core supporters to win the election? I would bet against it. I suspect this election ends just like the last, and when push comes to shove, Biden will eek out another win. Hope I am wrong, but I don't think I will be, and we will be left once again wondering how in the hell we screwed this up with what might be the weakest Democrat candidate in modern history opposing him.

The answer will be, Trump.

Come on now JR Bill didn't just get a 'hummer'.

He had repeated sex with an INTERN in the Oval Office .

Then lied about it while putting pressure on everyone involved to keep quiet.

Tell me which president of any Fortune 500 company could pull such garage and still remain in his job ?

You know the answer……NONE .

In addition Bill had several affairs ( some long lasting ones ) while governor of Arkansas and lied about them as well .

But Bill is still 100x better than Trump ?

Got some selective memory working there my friend .

Clinton actually did what you say you want. He worked with Congress and balanced the budget, we had a surplus, the economy was red hot and he actually admitted mistakes and backed off- see health care and taxes.

No, give me Clinton 100X over either of these *******s we have running. Clinton may have liked the ladies (he at least knew what a lady was as opposed to Biden), but at least he was a competent Administrator which is what the President is. These idiots we have now have raised the debt higher than any Presidents in history. Yes, both of them.

Waco sees classic & textbook pedophilic/grooming behavior from an older man and is like "this is totally normal and not a problem at all"

If an older man came up and started rubbing on my daughter or sniffing her hair in the Biden fashion he is going to get a massive shove to the other side of the room along with a string of curse words…if not outright bunch of haymaker fists to his head.

Trump is more of a Bill Clinton moderate. But without Bills verbal sophistication.

Please explain to me how Biden is ethically and morally superior.

Give me Bill Clinton 100 times over the deranged morally bankrupt Trump . Yeah. Bill got a hummer and that isn't ok. His governance in retrospect was great. he moved to the center.

LOL

So we need another dotcom bubble? Because that and borrowing from social security propped up Clinton's economy. Clinton, who paid $875,000 to one of his multiple sexual assault victims to get her to drop the charges so he could run for office. Nevermind he sold state secrets to China and committed insider trading, right? He played the saxophone and the leftist media liked him so we can ignore the reality of his actions.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Character matters.

Yes it does.

When I see Joe, I think "Stranger Danger".

That's not immoral but affectionate but probably too much. He is not grabbing women by the p***y

No, he's just feeling up little girls. That's not affectionate and the fact you think make you even creepier.

Waco sees classic & textbook pedophillic/grooming behavior from an older man and is "this is totally normal and not a problem at all"

If an older man came up and started rubbing on my daughter or sniffing her hair in the Biden fashion he is going to get a massive shove to the other side of the room along with a string of curse words…if not outright bunch of haymaker fists to his head.

I've never in my life known an old man who went up to little kids they don't know and started rubbing their hand on them and kissing them.

Complete and total bullsh. I've seen you make this absurd comment before, and you couldn't support it then just like you can't support it now.

Polls showed that both DeSantis and Haley would have beaten Biden worse than Trump. The only reason it's close is because Trump is so despised by half of America.
Donald Trump, at this point, is polling not only better than he did in 2020 among both black and hispanic voters, he's polling better than any Republican presidential nominee since the civil rights era…

We will see record turnout. I still have a feeling we are seeing Trump's ceiling, not his floor. But we will see. Gonna be a lot of people voting that are not on poll call list.

I'm willing to bet McConnell and his cabal will write another abortion/IVF bill or pull some stupid stunt to give dems a bone to campaign on. Just like Lindsay Graham pulled off for midterms.

I had almost forgotten how the GOP does stuff like that on the reg.

Like right before a major election they start talking about cutbacks to Medicare or a regime change war in Iran.

The kinds of things so stupid in a close election that you can only conclude that the GOP is controlled opposition.
They are and I'm glad more people are waking up to the fact.

Exactly this. Bidens handlers had him trumpet the Day of Visibility, on Easter Sunday while they simutaniously banned any reference to religion on Easter Eggs at the egg hunt. This is just par for the course for the extreme far left progressive movement.

Trump is a terrible person, but his policies are not extremist fodder for the farthest left, like the dems are at this time.

Of all the things to focus on, of all the things that could have been addressed, of all the important topics of actual gravity that could have been mentioned on Easter Sunday, Bidens handlers chose to announce the transgender Day of Visibility. You would have thought it was April 1st.

What the hell does DT polling better (marginally so) with blacks and Hispanics have to do with the price of tea in China?

Do you remember what you proffered? You said, "Biden would beat any other Republican in a Reagan'esque blowout." Do you have any evidence at all to back that up, because the polls I referenced said otherwise.

Or are you just talking out of your ass again?

....Gonna be a lot of people voting that are not on poll call list.
Gonna be a lot of people voting....who won't even be aware that they voted, if mail-in votes are still allowed!

And we all know the democrats will get at least 99% of the dead vote.

Trump is more of a Bill Clinton moderate. But without Bills verbal sophistication.

They do this every cycle, they double down on something virtually everybody is against at the most inopportune time as if they actually want to lose.

At max 20%-25% of the country is probably interested in a candidate like that.

You make a lot of ipse dixit proclamations without any evidentiary support. I posted 3 polls that established just the opposite of what you're alleging.

MAGA would have voted for either DeSantis or even Haley over Biden, when push came to shove. The polls support this position.

I can't stand the establishment repubs like Haley, but Trump essentially suffers from the same problems. He has a hard base of about 30-35% of the country, but outside of that, he enthuses no one, and is hated with a white hot passion by almost half of the country. And therein lies the quandary - how to get another 10-15% of the vote.

I still say if it had been DeSantis, Biden would be losing in a landslide.
