I don't agree with Biden on much, but I don't think Jesus would have a problem with trying to eliminate violence and discrimination towards a group of people that have historically been treated poorly based on their personal choices.

I have a couple of acquaintances that are trans and among many of the things they struggle with, they also struggle with their faith. They grew up in Christian homes and there are many aspects of Christianity that they like and they want to be a part of. Other being trans, they are really good people, probably the nicest and most generous people I've ever met. Christianity has effectively disowned them though. I think that is the most tragic thing about all of this. And if Jesus is going to be disappointed with anyone, it's going to be the people that failed to spread the word and love to people that don't fit in the box.
I do feel for your trans friend, and anyone who struggles with their sexuality and identity issues. I think the question is, would Jesus be ok with unrepentant sin? Based on my review of his teachings, as well as the teachings of the other NT writers, I believe the answer is unequivocally, "No." While Jesus saved the woman caught in the act of adultery, he did not say to her: "Go and live your life as you wish." Instead, he advised her that while he does not condemn her, she must "go and sin no more."

The writings in 1 John are particularly on point, and should cause any person that has unrepentant sin in his or her life to seriously examine themselves to determine whether they are, in fact, a part of the flock. Paul said we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling. I think Christians should take those verses seriously.

If we lead people to believe they can live a lifestyle that God does not condone, I think we are leading them down the primrose path to destruction. The bible's truths are clear, and its position on sin was clear. So while I feel for people who struggle with ANY unrepentant sin (I've been there myself), to me the greater damage is leading that person to believe they can continue down the primrose path.

First and foremost is an understanding that our sexuality and gender identity is different from our biological gender. Until one acknowledges this fact, all discussion about the Biblical issues is moot. Why? Because Jesus never associated our sexuality with sinning. Paul said, "In Christ there is no male and female.
There are two genders. Man and woman. This should not be that difficult for you, old timer!
Which ones are the people born with both ovaries and balls?
You must be one of those rare fellas that thinks men can give birth. Good for you.
Ovotesticular disorder of sex development (ovotesticular DSD) is a very rare disorder in which an infant is born with the internal reproductive organs (gonads) of both sexes (female ovaries and male testes). The gonads can be any combination of ovary, testes or combined ovary and testes (ovotestes).
Thank you for the Biology lesson. The world does not revolve around .00005 percent of the population, although the Dems wish it was so.

Did you know humans have two heads? It's true, because the exception is the rule...or something.
What if one head was a woman and the other was a man? Baby Jesus didn't think this through when he wrote the bible personally
Don't know, but I do know we have two headed humans therefor humans are two headed.
Almost no humans have two heads therefor none of them do.
Stop being violent towards two headed humans, bigot.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Even in these cases (very rare) of hermaphroditism the individual in question is still biologically one sex or the other.

They can't change their sex…that is not possible.

[XX hermaphroditism has two XX chromosomes and the ovaries of a woman, but has external genitalia that appear to be male.

This type is usually caused by the excessive exposure of the female fetus to male hormones in the womb. There is fusion of the labia, and the ****oris becomes enlarged to resemble a *****. Internally, the female sexual organs such as the uterus and fallopian tubes have a normal structure.]

[XY hermaphroditism has one X and one Y chromosome, as is usually seen in males, but the external genitalia are either not completely formed, or resemble those of females. The internal sexual organs may be normal, incomplete or absent, depending on the specific case.

This type usually occurs because of an imbalance of female and male hormones. It may be caused by abnormal function of the testes, reduced ability to produce testosterone, or difficulty in utilizing the testosterone produced in the body.]

Is this a serious reply? You are the first to bring up biological sex

Maybe my bigger point then is that making them feel unwelcome isn't the most Christian thing to do, and anyone that makes people feel unwelcome for their sin is just as bad as an unrepentant sinner.

This is code for those who do not support & celebrate their sins.
If a church preaches the teachings of the Bible, then they are labeled as "haters" and people who make other feel unwelcome.

If you want to go to church, then you should expect for that church to preach the Biblical truth about sin. There is no one who is telling people that they are horrible sinners, as they walk in the door... that just doesn't happen outside of the tiny Westboro Church. In 99% of churches, it just doesn't happen.

The reality is that people like you will label churches as bigoted if they do not accept sins like homosexuality and trans insanity, as good things instead of sin.

Because Christ offered forgiveness. Not once did Christ affirm or condone sin. Instead He said "repent" and "sin no more." That is the difference. It's one thing to love our neighbors, which is Christ's command, it's quite another thing to lie to them by telling them God approves of their sin and mislead them about fundamental concepts about sin & salvation. Most likely in Jesus' day these people would have been considered demon-possessed (and rightly so). If the demon-possessed ever "gathered around Christ" it was either to be healed of the possession, or because the demons were accosting Jesus, whom they feared mightily, begging him to not cast them into Hell.

Demon possession was a woeful affliction that needed to be forcefully removed, not something to be affirmed and validated. The only "visibility" Jesus would want for these people would be for the purpose of others being able to find them so that they can be brought to him to be FREED from their affliction, NOT so that they can be celebrated and advocated for, like the evil Biden administration is doing.

Exactly. Jesus deeply cared about and came to redeem sinners (i.e. ALL of us) but at the same time he also called out and opposed sin - and sexual deviance is clearly identified as a sin in both the Old and New Testaments. Many people - especially lefties - either don't understand this out of ignorance, or they deliberately twist being opposed to something the Bible defines as sin as being an attack on the people committing the sin. You can care about and love people committing any type of sin, while simultaneously opposing their sin and not encouraging them to just keep sinning. In fact, to the best of my understanding, that's what Christians are supposed to do.

That's exactly what Christian's are commanded to do. And that is real compassion which seeks to help people heal & improve. Those who lie gif people and seek to mutilate their bodies show no compassion at all.

Stranger Danger!!

The kind of parent that would walk up and allow or encourage that sick degenerate to sniff, touch or get that close to one of your own kids is most likely the same parent that would allow their child to become mutilated, neutered or outfitted with plastic genitalia.

Biden needs to be put down. Put out. Retired. Mothballed. Erased.

He and his "Weekend at Bernie's" handlers should just slink back under the sewer rock they crawled out from under.

Agreed

Some of you have disagreed with the my comment that Biden is pure evil.

Here is another reason for that comment. The Biden administration has arrested and charged individuals who were protesting on Jan 6th. Some of those arrested were individuals who committed actual acts of violence or destroyed public property. The majority of those arrested were non-violent protestors.
Likewise, the Biden administration has tasked the FBI and Homeland Security with the job of investigating and in some cases harassing citizens who show up to protest at local school board meetings.
Biden himself has claimed that "Christian Nationalists" (a BS phrase created by the left) and White Supremacy are bigger threats to our nation than Al Queada or ISIS. He has also used the trigger phrase that these groups represent a "clear and present danger to our nation". This is a phrase that is necessary to authorize certain actions by federal agencies in response to dangerous groups or individuals.

Meanwhile we have thousands of people who have gathered multiple times over the years, to declare their hatred for America and their allegiance to foreign groups who are actual enemies of our nation. In the most recent example, they were actually chanting "Death to America". And yet, the White House has no response and has taken no actions.

He is persecuting and prosecuting his political enemies, while he completely ignores people who openly state their desire to destroy our nation from within. This is yet another reason why Biden is pure evil.

Not true. They are not made up words but social constructs to understand sexuality. You have not proved these social constructs. All you said was assertion without proof.
There is nothing to prove or disprove. Social constructs are made up terms. They are not based on science or biology, but instead societal norms.(The sciences of Psychiatry and the biological birth of children with ambiguous sex organs disagree)
Ambiguous genitalia is a rare condition in which an infant's external genitals don't appear to be clearly either male or female. In a baby with ambiguous genitalia, the genitals may be incompletely developed or the baby may have characteristics of both sexes. The external sex organs may not match the internal sex organs or genetic sex.

Ambiguous genitalia isn't a disease, it's a disorder of sex development. Usually, ambiguous genitalia is obvious at or shortly after birth, and it can be very distressing for families. Your medical team will look for the cause of ambiguous genitalia and provide information and counseling that can help guide decisions about your baby's gender and any necessary treatment. Mayo clinic

We aren't talking about the less than .01% of the population born with both genitalia. That is indeed a biological condition. We are instead talking about people who suffer from a mental illness or mental disorder that makes them think they are the opposite sex, or some such.

Social constructs are made up. Always have been. They are based on societal pressures and norms. They have nothing to do with biology or science.
