Its not just geeks...its everyone.
I went to my first college spring break in Florida in the mid 2000s
And very few out on the beach among thousands of 20 year olds had tattoos....a few girls had the lower back "tramp stamp" thing going on. But it was rare and easy to cover up. A few guys with the tribal tat thing on the arm.
Last year the wife and I were in Florida and every single 20 year old (guy or girl) we saw had a tattoo.
And like multiple tattoos at that and they were all over the body....and much bigger than they used to be.
Its been a big cultural transition and normalization over the past 15 years or so
McQueen, the king of cool in the 60's, being yourself and not caring was the definition of cool. Finding your own way, being independent, and being in shape was the path... Sometime, I am not sure when, it changed.
Is there a group Of more weak followers than democrats? They already lining up for the bird flu vax.
