Ex-Trump Official Makes Stunning Revelation: Trump Talked About Executing People At Several WH Meetings

Jun 15th, 2024, 9:00 am

Ex-Trump White House official Alyssa Farah Griffin told Mediaite that then-President Donald Trump discussed "executing" people at multiple White House meetings.
Griffin was a guest on this week's edition of Mediaite's new Press Club podcast, hosted by Aidan McLaughlin.
In their wide-ranging interview, McLaughlin asked about former Trump administration officials who criticized Trump heavily, only to later endorse him.

This prompted Griffin to reveal that the meeting at which then-Attorney General Bill Barr says he couldn't recall if Trump said a leaker should be "executed" was just one of several meetings at which executions came up:
Quote:

Mike Pence declined to endorse Trump. But then you have people like Nikki Haley and Bill Barr who are either endorsing him or saying that they would probably vote for him, despite being very critical and there is a difference between saying you disagree with some of policies, and saying this person is fundamentally unfit for office, but I might vote for them. How do you explain that there are people who are very smart, like Nikki Haley and Bill Barr, who watched the first Trump term from the inside, and have described it as very dangerous, but are still saying, well, we might vote for him in 2024.
It's power. I think power is just one of the most enticing things that we have in society. Kaitlan Collins, to her credit, interviewed Bill Barr and asked about an anecdote that I had shared about a meeting he and I were both in the Oval Office, where Trump straight up said a staffer who leaked a story should be executed. And Bill Barr kind of danced it and said I don't recall that specific instance, but there were others where we talked about executing people. How do you rationalize that is a person fit in sound judgment to be president of the United States?
They're reading the tea leaves. They know there's a very real chance he's going to be president again. And there's not a lot of glory or victory in being right, but being on the wrong side of Trump, I think that's ultimately what it comes down to.
I really wanted to root for Nikki Haley. I think it was pathetic that she turned around and endorsed him. I think she knows better. I wish that there were more people out there, but I do think it's notable, I mentioned Pence, but every living former standard bearer for the GOP, so everyone who's been on a GOP presidential ticket, with the exception of Sarah Palin, is not backing Donald Trump Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Dan Quayle, presumably George Bush, Mike Pence, everyone that we entrusted who had risen to the level of seriousness that they could see themselves in the Oval, says oh no, this guy should not be in the Oval.

Over 400,000 Ukranians and Russians, over 1,200 Israelis, and thirteen U.S. soldiers exiting Afghanistan dead due the the weakness and incompetence of a sitting U.S. President. The only thing Joe Biden is really good at is falling down.

Thousands more have died traveling to the U.S./ Mexico border because of Biden's open border policy.

Texas Scientist has no problem with any of the above but Donald Trump's words continue to hurt his feelings.

this story is the left's response to the blowback joe is getting for the lawfare. sure joe is attacking trump with lawfare and trying to put him in prison, but hey look, here's an *unproven* allegation that he talked about executing people. if the left demands unquestionable video to prove biden took bribes, same applies here.

Remonds me of the gun control debate. Democrats campaign on gun bans and gun restrictions. Democrats lose to the Second Amendment. "You're paranoid. No one took your guns."

The problem is we used to have so-called reporters that would attempt to verify single-source information. But after 2016, the left-wing media would run with anything that made Trump look bad regardless of how baseless. As noted above - he was president for four years, so the emotional hysterics of the left-wing noise machine can easily be juxtaposed against his record as a Clintonian Democrat.

Depends on the specific situation.

In 2016, Pence would have been qualified for most situations which arose during the 2017-20 term, but cleaning up the vast wreckage of the Biden Administration and taking on the Democrats' army of media and academic cultists now, nope.

Pence would be a good administrator, and good at building teams. But he's got the backbone of a stale noodle when attacked, and would go down fast.

We need someone with Pence's character and Trump's willingness to fight hard.
