They need to get on board with this. Once the first one is built and everyone tries it there will be no going back and I expect it will only expand in the Texas Triangle, as it should.

Probably because as with all high speed rail systems, it will cost billions in tax dollars we don't have.

I know that's never stopped those of your ilk - actually having the funds to do it.

It is true, mass transit across distance has only been partially fueled by private companies. Making the technologies convenient and usable by all has largely been a government thing.

Because they believe the people who are most likely to use it live downtown near the Ghettos.......Stop with the same town connections. Make that a Phase 2 Use DFW, IAH, AUS and SAT - - business will pop up to transport people to any part of the city they want to go visit.
