Didn't used to think this, but given what we have seen develop over the past few decades (RC Priesthood pederasty, Gay Pride Month, Lawfare against Christians, ****** Madness, now the Minor Attracted Person garbage) I have really begun to doubt if a functioning society can show tolerance for it and maybe the Ayatollahs who use them as gravity test dummies are right on this issue.

Let us not forget that for the majority of western history, homosexuality was rightly criminalized or considered a mental disorder and abandoning this legacy has coincided with our societal decline.

Our response to homosexuality and every other sin should not be to rely on Old Testament law. Instead we should follow the compassionate example of Jesus through love. This does NOT mean condoning or excusing it. It definitely must be condemned. Christian's failure to do this loudly and often enough is one reason for our current societal decline. But killing the guilty won't solve the problem. Instead we need to minister unto those who seek it and preach repentance to everyone else.

The best thing most of us can do is pray. America needs prayer like never before. God willing, we will have another Great Awakening that will prepare us for the horrors to come.

What we need to do as individuals and what a society needs to do to corporately to sustain itself are often two different things.

For example, an individual is free to marry or not, to have children or not.

But a society that promotes feminism, becomes a matriarchy, and sees the childbearing rate drop below 2.1 children per couple is eventually going to go extinct. That brutal math doesn't care about feelings or ideology and will consign a society that tries to ignore it to the same dust heap as the dinosaurs.

Likewise, a society that insists on pretending that homosexuality is a normal lifestyle with all the rights of a heterosexual one damages or destroys itself. A self-sustaining society must maintain the truth that homosexuality is an aberrant and inferior lifestyle, and that those who pursue it are doing so in violation of the laws of God and nature. It must not allow homosexuals the right to "marry" or legally legitimize their relationships, and certainly not influence or recruit children through grooming or adoption.

It's sad that so many on the political right cannot see this truth clearly.
