Canadians are progressives. They are subjects of the government and cannot imagine life without their protectionism and entitlements.
If a progressive politician stands up to Trump with bluster and nonsense, they will vote him in and let him drive their country off a cliff. Good for them. Showing real strength there. I am good with Progressive tears. It will take at least another 4 years in the economic gutter for them to wake up. If they vote a progressive in, I hope it's economic carnage. I read somewhere that only 160k voted in the recent Canadian elections. The nation has a population of 40 million. I know their elections, like most of the rest of the world, work very differently compared to the US but that's an appallingly low turnout.
