You also have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to Springfield. It was a dying city due to the factories closing up and Gallup called it the unhappiest city in 2011. Its decrease in income between 1999 and 2014 was the largest of any city in the country. They began welcoming immigrants to revitalize the economy in 2014, and the Haitians began arrive in 2018 during Trump's administration, and were given temporary protected status so they could work without fear of deportation.
Just be honest. You are using this city you've never heard of to prop up your political candidate of choice, stop pretending like you care about this place, which most likely would've have continued declining without the Haitian immigrant influx.

And this is not even the fault of Haitians....the closing of manufacturing plants of the MidWest and the shipping off of these jobs overseas as been something decades in the making.
But its not like those Haitians can turn back the tide on globalization.
At the end of the day mass migration is just moving poor people from one area to the next.
It rarely does anything to reverse long term economic patterns.
