Repeatedly calling someone a Dictator, a Racist, Hitler, an existential threat to democracy, etc, has consequences. After seeing the shooter's Twitter/X posts, this guy heavily bought into it.
What's crazy is you could ask him what Trump has done that lines up with the accusations and he couldn't name one thing. There's nothing explicit that Trump has done that anyone can point to say "he's like Hitler". If you listened to the media you'd think he was a Putin asset…but with absolutely zero evidence for such claims.
This leads me to believe that these kind of people are highly susceptible to herd mentality. This whole idea that if the media/people are claiming something, then it must be true, no further evidence required. We have an epidemic of people not thinking for themselves and not treating themselves as individuals. It's the crux of collectivism.

1)This event was not on his list of events. How did this shooter know to be there? Maybe an inside tip?
2)If Trump wins, many in the high up part of the Secret Service, DOJ, FBI, CIA etc will be fired and replaced. He even said it during the debate. When there is incompetence, he fired people (unlike the current administration). Also, he will want to remote DEI hires as they are up to their jobs and were put there for other reasons.
