Yes you misunderstood.
I was saying that this incident was probably not the first incident. Someone who rose through the ranks and then posted & discussed these directives, most likely expressed such political extreme positions before. It's not like she just suddenly got brave enough to say this, but for the previous years she was just a normal person.
But her previous radical positions were never an issue at FEMA because... obviously there are a lot of leftists who agree with her at FEMA. This time, someone leaked the information to the public... which is why she's in trouble. Even then, FEMA wasn't going to do anything... but now that Trump won they decide to take action in the hopes that people like you will claim that FEMAp got rid of the one bad apple. The reality is that bad apples only get promoted by worse apples in positions above them.
