Ah yes, the same administration that claimed white supremacy was the number one danger to Americans is now saying they refused to help Trump supporters in times of disaster because Trump supporters are dangerous.
TIL that Trump supporters didn't receive any help from FEMA.
TIL FEMA workers didn't skip homes with Trump signs in front at the direction of their superiors...
The directive was wrong, even if it was for safety purposes, but I don't see the conspiracy y'all are making it out to be.
Of course you wouldn't.

Had Trump supporters not been such *******s, it wouldn't have happened, but also the federal government has a responsibility even to *******s, and their policy needs to reflect that.

Also, interesting that you start calling these North Carolina residents "*******s"

Maybe have some compassion for people who have just been through a major trauma?

Guys and gals who just saw there homes and lives destroyed....maybe lost family members or dear friends who died.

Maybe their businesses were ruined and finances crushed

[-The catastrophic flooding and destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina likely caused at least a record $53 billion in damages and recovery needs, Gov. Roy Cooper's administration said Wednesday.
-More than 100,000 homes were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Helene across Western North Carolina. That includes apartment buildings, single family homes and trailers across the region, and this impacts an estimated 200,000+ people.
-At least 227 people died as a result of Hurricane Helene, with the majority of the deaths occurring in North Carolina]
.

These people had just been through hell....and here you are calling them names.

Maybe you are the *******....

People confronting federal employees tasked with giving aid, many of them armed, are asshokes. No sympathy.

I remember news stories about people shooting at firemen and rescue helicopters during Katrina. Guess FEMA should have left them to their own devices, too.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Try reading! FEMA was not justified in skipping any neighborhood. If someone is shooting at them, sure, skip that one. But you have to try the next house, Trump sign or no.

You cannot have an accurate view of reality consuming a narrative from any entertainment news channel. They are not attempting to report on the country and world, but create and reinforce a narrative that appeals to the masses and makes them money. If those are the only options you see, I feel bad for you.

Just a question. Did you guys run of the jar of pixie dust after pushing transgender so hard? That had to have taken an enormous amount of it. That's probably the reason you lost the election so badly, no more pixie dust that created all those voters.

If this is true, then they are proving themselves to be 100x more evil than they say DT is.

DT is the "mean orange man" who only goes after politicians and a media that deserve it.

The liberals and their leaders go after the voters themselves who are simply voting for their own beliefs, and have a right to do so.

But why wouldn't we believe this story to be true; we know how the left thirsts for abortion, so would you expect anything less?

This is why you just have to laugh at these liberal clowns when they talk about what a meanie DT is. They are so much worse.

When you say they, who do you mean? FEMA confirmed this and said it was 1employee who had no authority to do this.
Someone who posts this kind of crap, is not a total shock. If they felt they could do this, then they definitely made comments or took other actions in the past. The difference is that FEMA didn't care if they had hired & promoted a radical leftist.

Clean house at FEMA... better yet, dissolve FEMA and give their budget to Samaritan's Purse instead.
So Trump should do a political purge of FEMA, or dissolve it, because some employees may be leftist.

Duly noted.
Check the news tomorrow. I hear in advance that CNN will be reporting a scoop. Trump to sentence FEMA fanatics to a firing squad. You heard it here first!
So Liz Cheney is off the hook maybe?

So if you are a libtard that works for FEMA (probably the vast majority of employees) and a trump sign triggers you, you are free to skip that property.

It sounds like what we exactly need is a political purge of FEMA and really all agencies that are meant to serve the general public.

Better yet we could get rid of FEMA altogether and just give the states some disaster funding when there is a disaster.

as long as the states set up mutual aid agreements with one another, I'm all for it.

There would need to be some distinguishing features between natural disasters, civil unrest and, manmade disasters like the fertilizer plant explosion in West,TX

If a state fails to enforce laws and that failure leads to a disaster, the state should get the mutual aid assistance but they should be on the hook for 100% of financing the cost.

FEMA just needs to be disbanded.
There are far better ways to use our money, than fund that worthless organziation.

Think about it... when was the last major disaster that didn't result in a "FEMA screwed up" story?
Almost all of the actual beneficial work that is done by the federal government during or after a disaster is work that is done by the military. It's almost always the National Guard that is rescuing people or delivering emergency supplies. I can't really remember the last time I saw an interview with someone saying "Thank God for FEMA!" or "FEMA saved our lives".

I hope that DOGE gets rid of FEMA.

Like how soft do you have to be as a person to think "I'm not going to help that person in need because we have opposing political views".

I downright dislike some of my neighbors but if their house was on fire I would sure do anything I could to help them. It would never even cross my mind to worry about who they voted for.

The root cause here isn't FEMA it's that we have created an entire generation of people who are so "triggered" by a GD lawn sign that they can't function enough to help another human being. That's the most bat **** crazy thing I've ever heard.

It sounds like what we need is an end to being "triggered".

I know you were talking in general terms. But just going to point out that WE did not create the environment, liberal politicians and media are the ones behind the crazy and hate filled environment.

Main Stream Media, Joy Reid, Whoopie Goldberg, The View, Joe Scarborogh et al. Hopefully they get their due... they've certainly been getting paid a lot to scream and pitch hate to no end
