Quality candidate, not that hard. Dems ran Hillary the most hated women in the world and Kamala who can't string two words together in a coherent fashion.

What did they expect. Tulsi would have done better.

But alas, Tulsi failed to make it out of the primaries when she ran for president, so no, she would not have done better because she didn't do better. Only one woman has ever secured her party nomination starting from the start line. Kamala got a head start, so to speak, and that didn't work either. And only Biden/Kamala has secured the win with a woman in the VP position. All other female VP tickets got trounced in the general election. And honestly, there haven't been too many of those tickets in the first place.

They hated Tulsi so much they drove her out of the party. But yes, she and Margaret Thatcher have been probably the only two female presidential-quality candidates in my lifetime.

The rest - Palin, Whitman, Ferraro, Hillary, Kamala are all just DEI trash.

I might lean toward the hardcore Democratic women we know are all the most annoying people we know. The majority of the public is turned off by them.

You are assuming primaries and generals are the same.

So far, winning the Dem Primary isn't the golden ticket.

There hasn't been a decent woman candidate that has secured the nomination.

Good grief Trump beat then both.
By the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved.

I think it is also quality policies that will put a lady in the White house. I have spoken to women I know @ church & work who held their nose about candidate Trump but voted for the policies. Just my $.02. Admit this is a skewed small sample size and anecdotal.

If you look at the GOP firsts, they were all quality. O'Connor comes to mind first. But, we need the best person, not the best women. If a women is the best person, more power to her. If not, than no. We have too many "drop the mike" political types that put out one message but than look to weasel out. They want to say the message, but not deliver. I am sick, of slick politician types.

Tulsi would make an excellent pick for VP in 2028. Vance, like Trump needs help with white women.

Why can't they ever select a special Person that's competent with skins on the wall, accomplished, not a racist, etc?

They've miscalculated, as always, just how far they can take a they're racist / hitlers line.

Tsk tsk

Don't compare the annointmdnt of Harris, who didn't have to win a primary, with someone who didn't win a past primary. Dems rallied around Harris because she was the only option, not because they wanted to.

Also many though Tulsi wasn't left enough. Tulsi is a borderline independent, and could never have United the zealots on the left with the main party. Harris was black and at one point, described as the most progressive Democrat in DC.

Democrats would likely never nominate a centrist, but if they did, someone like Tulsi might have a real shot.

I'm not assuming anything. I just gave the historical overview. Only one woman has made it out of the primaries. Kamala was gifted her shot this year.

Didn't do that either. I gave the historical overview. You used the word anointed. I said head start. Potato/potato.

This was an ass kicking but if he had chosen her it might have been even worse. She's as smart and as well spoken as Vance. She would be, by a huge margin, the best female candidate this country has even seen.

I really thought Michelle was going to be the candidate. If she was, I have no doubt she would have won. I was very afraid for that.

Not sure what you're referring to about a 3rd term. She's said she's not interested in politics. However, now that her kids are out of the house all she needs is to hear a "call" by god to feel it's her time. Of course the call will not be from Yahweh, but from Moloch.

2016... Now we have 2024 and Kamala got crushed. She may rethink based on those looks.
