I will be very, very disappointed if Trump does not appoint a handicapped black lesbian to his cabinet.
No. No I won't. It is time to hire again based on merit. Hire the best man, woman, or sexually confused person for the job. For the record, I feel like almost 100 percent of the sexually confused will not be qualified because of personal (mostly mental) issues. It is what it is.

This is what I don't get with the DEI insanity. I've hired and employed so many qualified special people. Why do we constantly see these total incompetents foistednupon us in politics and in fortune 500 companies.
It's embarassing and really really pisses off competent black men the most.
The Obama and Biden Supreme Court appointees more perfect examples.
At least we'll have less trans folks to watch on tv.

Wow - actually hiring/appointing the best and most qualified person available instead of prioritizing race, gender, sexual orientation, and/or woke approved forms of mental illness as the main criteria. What a concept!!
Well said. You'll get a lot more actual diversity (of viewpoint and experience) if you aren't arbitrarily slicing people by about 3 or 4 metrics while making sure they comply with groupthink.Redbrickbear said:

Sends a clear signal Trump is going into slash and burn mode.
I think the key to understanding Trump's appointments is this...it has much more to do with a willingness to do what needs to be done than it does with their educational background, or system-awarded credentials. From this perspective, his selections have been excellent. During his first term, he was surrounded by people who were trying to obstruct his vision and maintain the status quo.
I'm really focused on his proposal to eliminate the income tax. That is a key to having tariffs succeed.
...and slash and burn mode is what is necessary. If the infrastructure that allowed the last four years of tyranny is allowed to survive, it's only a matter of time before it returns, and does so stronger than before.
