Interesting. He is gonna launch a crusade like we have never seen before in Health and Human Services. Gonna be fun to watch the heads roll.boognish_bear said:JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Pharmaceutical stocks fall after President-elect Trump names RFK Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. pic.twitter.com/BUtPZExOSB

Help me understand how his motivation is an acceptable skill for this job with zero experience in public health or working/leading an agency?
I accept that there are transferable skills but I don't see how Environmental Lawyering in small firms translates to this critical department.
And we get to, get healthy again. And knock Big Pharma. And to get rid of politicians subsidized by Big Pharma. Whats to worry about?Mothra said:Guy has substantial experience suing drug manufacturers and food processors for harming the public. Has millions in jury verdicts and settlements. In fact, in that regard he is by far the most successful lawyer the country has ever seen. I'd say that's a damn sight more experienced (and far less biased) than the typical former (or future) pharmaceutical executives who often fill this role.Mitch Blood Green said:Help me understand how his motivation is an acceptable skill for this job with zero experience in public health or working/leading an agency?KaiBear said:

TikTok served me an RFK town hall. He spent 10 minutes talking about vaccines, implied they cause autism; then said that he wasn't anti-vax, just anti- all vaccines we currently have, and says as POTUS he'd stop research on drug development and infectious diseases for 8 years. pic.twitter.com/PKAzZ56Mn8

And he's spot on. Of course, any suggestion of a link (despite the fact every single warning label on a vaccine says it might cause autism, among other childhood disorders) is viewed as crackpot by glib people who've bought hook line and sinker everything the drug manufacturers have told them.boognish_bear said:TikTok served me an RFK town hall. And you suggest we should hire the DC regulars who have been leading the HHC so well all these years?
Good point, but there is a catch. I worked with Autistic and Down Syndrome for years. It was our adult Sunday School class. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064791423358 - the catch? Not a single one reached the age of 70. The medical issues with severe autism and nearly any kind of Downs lead to an "early" death. What would be interesting would be a study to see if these extra shots actually cause Autism or Down.Mothra said:And he's spot on. You know what's interesting? Looking at a line graph demonstrating how much the number of vaccines have increased since the passage of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which essentially gave vaccine makers immunity for harming the public, and then looking at a corresponding line graph of the incidence of autism, ADHD, OCD, allergies, etc. in children. They almost mirror each other. Wonder why?
When I was a kid, I had 4 vaccines. A child born today would have over 70. I didn't know a single autistic child growing up. Now it's 1 in 36 in kids, and 1 in 25 boys.

Well, if RFK pulls vaccines off the market and turns the US into a third-world cesspool of disease, at least we will have beaten the trans activists at their own game.Jack Bauer said:

It may be a bad thing that we depend so much on the federal government. The fact remains that we do depend on it. I'm not sure the "burn it down" constituency has thought through the implications. It seems like you're all about the feels.

Your buddies Biden & Harris have already begun doing that by welcoming in millions of illegals liens. TB & other diseases are way up in the US because of it.

good way to put it. He has some testosterone. The Dems have more female hormones though. They just went through menopause. And it was nasty! Tons of hot flashes! The Dems can no longer get pregnant, not because they went through menopause, but because they swore never to have sex again.KaiBear said:Trump has some amazing instincts.Assassin said:

Safe or unsafe, tested or untested, RFK doesn't know the difference. Secondly, RFK is not opposed to all vaxes, only to the experimental kind with inadequate testing & unknown side effects. That's reasonable.
